  1. Hi all,

I have been playing poker for around year and a half now .I have full time day job and I play only the night tournaments and on weekends. I have had some decent results now and then but nothing too consistently.

The thing is I don't have any friends with whom I can really discuss poker, hand analysis and stuff and get better .Most of what I know if self learning from books and articles .
Also, I have started to read the forum on P5 recently which is better late then never .

I have realized that doing all this can take you only so far and no more . I really need some one to talk to ,from whom I can learn what it takes to move to the next level,a mentor.I don't know many good players around my area so I randomly picked players with good results and sent messages asking for help since I thought that was my best shot .Needless to say I didn't get a single response .Did it a second time and still nothing.

I would really appreciate if some one can give me advice on how to go about it or even better if somebody is willing to mentor me and take my game to the next level .

    Thanks.

  2. Hey man, well i was just about to post something along the same lines as you....and it looks like youve had some better scores than me lol....im from tx too but in iraq right now
  3. If you posed as a hot single female you'd have top pro's filling up your inbox.

I too have looked for elite players to help with my game but never received a response. If you're serious about poker then perhaps look into coaching or training sites. Sure, free advice is preferable but most of us gotta pay!
