Getting to speak with a live person at Netteller support is now relatively quick (2-5 minutes).
The Bad News: EFT's are now going to take a minimum of 4-6 weeks from the time that one was requested, and that time frame is only a "guesstimate."
The Not as Bad News: You may automatically access your Netteller funds if you possess one of their debit cards (up to $1000 per day, approx $2 per use through ATMs). If you don't have a card you can request one.
Bad News Again: Due to the large number of people that Netteller has suggested this "solution" to, it will be 2-4 weeks for you to receive the Debit Card once you apply for it.
In the meantime, while waiting by the post box, don't cancel your "pending" payment request as that will only put you further back in the que. Once you receive the debit card, then cancel the request and start using the card.
Conclusion: Not sure they have the amount of money (on hand that is) that has been requested by approximately 2 million American customers (their numbers). At least the Debit Cards may be a solution, or they are just placating us so we all don't fly to Calgary for a lynching.
