Here's why:
1. You take a seat and it goes to the center like ub.
2. When u fold your hand it still shows you your cards but says folded over them so u know what u would've had.
3. Picture in Picture
4. Red Felt
5. When someone calls, raises, folds it doesn't say it over their money amout for 2 minutes it says it over their picture for 2 seconds.
6. When u leave a table ur money is instantly updated -
lol -- i am sure they will change it but rite now it is terrible
-
The last one was soooo much better rite?
-
Well....since it is not even loading properly (the text is running right off the edge of the window)
And I can not open a table due to a runtime error...
And I have not gotten a reply to my email about signing up for a sng and never getting the table to open 10 hrs ago
I gotta say I'm in love with it
out 22$ and never got to be dealt into a hand...whats not to love about the ugrade -
You forgot to add the fact that now we aren't playing at a table, but all sitting indian style in a big powpow while the cards are thrown on the blood covered TEE-PEE FLOOR!
-
pass the peace pipe
-
Is this a joke? Its not even close to avg let alone "awesome"
-
my favorite features are
1) when you bet is rejected b/c you type it in rather than using slider
2) being able to sit at multiple tables in same MTT
3) having your hands autofolded instantly when action comes to you
4) being booted of network when client crashes
5) being able to view mutliple table fullsize on my dual video setup
6) great hand history interface -
I agree Jerry -- but my personal favorite was the "mystery call." Only happened when I was multi-tabling, but it sure was embarassing to call off my entire stack pre-flop on like the 3rd hand of a tourney with Q5o. When I closed my account and called their software interface flakey, I had my one unpleasant experience with their customer service guys. "Mr Aruba, you must have a very old PC or have hit the call button accidentally." When I explained I had a brand new laptop, and this had happened a number of times, we agreed to disagree and went our separate ways.
-
i agree i kind of like it. i'm partial because the 1st tourney i played last night, the $13.5k i took 3rd.
i like it better for a single table layout but it sucks for multi-tabling. the PIP needs work -
The upgrade certainly is awesome.
I am in awe at how empty-headed the designer must be! -
So there is a few flaws but there are alot of good things about it like I mentioned above.
-
are you serious? who cares if it shows your translucent folded cards? you should know what you folded and not have to be reminded of it.
-
..awesome my a$$.......for some STUPID reason bodog took away 'multiple monitor' support......TRY playing on multiple tables on multiple monitors with the new upgrade....you CAN'T....this is RIDICULOUS........also......who wants to look at bright throbbing red tables for hours and who CARES about your folded cards..........when I fold, I don't WANT to look at 'em anymore.....I know what they are...I don't need to keep looking at them.........
...and that 'picture in picture' thing is useless....you cannot determine who is betting or folding or raising in the small picture....you gotta keep toggling between the small pictures and the main table......incredibly annoying way to play on multiple tables.........
..and I DON'T wanna always sit in seat 6 !!!...this is also ridiculous !!....the number '6' is Satan's number..........
bodog seems to now be obsessing about pretty and eye-catching gimmicks (like the little custom jpeg avatars) that have NOTHING to do with serious poker playing.....the bodog 'upgrade' needs a LOT of work......their support teams are now overwhelmed by disgruntled players.....the upgrade has been a downgrade....... -
Word!!!!
I never thought I would play internet poker with sunglasses on till now........ -
Since I complained about the old interface, I feel it's only fair that I mention that my biggest complaint, the resource-intensive slowness of the old software, has been fixed in the new version. The new interface runs quite fast on my Mac running VirtualPC, so I intend to do a lot more playing on Bodog. I also really like the 1st-person view a la UB.
-
can canadians play yet?
-
I just started playing with it today. I've definitely noticed improvements but I need to spend some time on it to really get a better feel for it. So far, though, it definitely feels like an improvement.
-
I take back what I said about the Bodog interface running fast. Tried playing a tournament tonight and it was horribly slow. Maybe a difference between cash games and tournaments. Oh well.
