It would be an 81 Person $10 + $1 SNg Satellite
The top three from each table advance each time. 81 people down to 27 down to 9 down to 3 - who win millions seats, with 4th-9th getting $27.50.
I think this would be a better option then double/triple shootouts, cause it has more to do with luck once you get to the top three. I think these might be even more popular. -
so, like a triple shootout with top 3 at each table advancing/winning. id probably do these if they had em.
-
yeah, basically - i think overall, it would allow skilled players a better chance then the current triple and double shootout's allow.
-
sounds a good idea to me
-
I doubt it would happen but I prefer that to regular triple shootout
-
Damn thats actually a good idea.
-
Damn good idea!
-
Great idea.
If they had 15 minute levels it would not take longer than 7 or 8 hours. -
Very good idea. With 5 minute levels I can't see a table lasting any more than 30-40 minutes, if that.
-
While I think it would be easier, I think it would be dominated by SnG specialists. They just wouldn't be able to pass up turning 11.00 into 215.00 so easily, and so frequently (high ROI, low variance for them in these). They'd most likely not even play in the Sunday Million, and just play these all day. I do think it's a good idea though.

Good idea.
Similar sort of tourney progression structure as the king of the hill tourneys on poker room. id play em. -
Newghetto, can you send Stars an email suggesting these satties and then paste the template in this thread so others can also send it?
-
I was expecting something inane or plain stupid. This is actually an excellent idea.
-
I think its a very good idea, but wouldnt that take ahiwl going 4 rounds?
-
there would only be three rounds....and as far as being filled with sng specialists, the fish are still going to be in these as much as the normal double shootout, so I don't see a higher percentage of so called SNG specialists in these then normal. a sng specialist would still have an advantage over someone in a normal shootout anyways.

81 Person SNG
$10+$1
First Round: 1500 Chips, 10 Minute Levels, Standard Blind Structure, 9 Tables/9 Handed (Top Three From Each Table Advance)
Second Round: 1500 Chips, 10 Minute Levels, Standard Blind Structure, 3 Tables, 9 Handed (Top Three From Each Table Advance)
Final Round: 1500 Chips, 10 Minute Levels, Standard Blind Structure, 1 Table, 9 Handed
1st - 3rd : $215 Sunday Million Seat
4th - 9th : $27.50
Could also run a turbo varient with 5 minute levels. -
Hello Pocket Fives,
This is an intersting idea, but it's not something we can implement at present because of software restrictions with the way our shootout tournaments work. We're always improving our software though, and we'll keep this idea in mind for the future.
As for emailing templates to Support, we appreciate player feedback but it's not necessary to mass mail us a template... We read the forums too!

I like it. Would definitely cut down on the variance.
When you advance to the next table, would the two other people who advanced with you be placed at the same table or would everyone be shuffled around? -
everyone should be shuffled, if possible
-
i emailed stars about this format...if any of you really like this format, you might as well let them know too
-
AGREED
