New Lobby and features for UB/AP

    Hey Guys,

    Just wanted to give you guys the heads up. We changed our lobby and added a couple new features.

    - New Filters for Ring Games and Tournaments/SnG

    - Icons for the lobby

    Hopefully these changes will improve your playing experience on our clients. We have some great features coming out in the future so please keep me updated with items you guys would like to see on the client. Such as Auto-Top Off and Layout Manager. Hope you guys are also enjoying the new tournament schedule and like the small changes to the structures in some tournaments.

    Please let me know if you see any issues with the update.

    The new look will take some getting used to but it looks alright. It sucks that you can no longer see your account balance in the lobby. I use that to record how much I won/lost during my sessions and I probably look at it like 20 times per session. Other than that I don't see any problems yet (besides the potential for me to lose my bankroll playing craps).

    yes I found it off on the side of the client. All I found at first was the Find user option like Tilt has..which I cant stand. but at least they left something for us old Ub users

    Please add some FO-tournaments in the $75-$200+ area in the 12pm-15pm timeslot??? It's like ZERO tournaments on UB (for euros) :( :(

    I like the new look and THANK YOU for finally getting Auto-top off, not sure why this hadn't been around for a long time. What's the layout manager?

    i still have a buddy list on my UB client. its on the far right hand side above the register tab. UB/AP NEEDS to improve the software for macs. no seat choice option and NO omaha mtts is ridiculous. fix this asap plz!!!

    Hey Guys,

    UB Buddy is still on the client. It is below the Ring Game/Tournament Window in the main client listed at Ultimate Buddy. Auto Top Off has NOT beed added to the client yet. It is a feature we are working on currently.

    I will look into a feature that will allow players to hide a specific players' chat so that you can block certain players from chatting to you.

    When you say allowing only alert option, are you referring to when it is your turn to act and it notifies you by a sound? So, you would want to disable all sounds except for that alert?

    I will continue to pass along any suggestions that you guys provide in regards to the tournament schedule/structure but please remember, that I work solely on the product.

    Since you asked... please fix this long time bug.

    If you intentionally sitout during a tournament, and then you get moved while sitting out, you are automatically put back in the game and you lose your time clock.

    Detailed instructions for reproducing said bug:
    1) Join a MTT

    2) click the 'Sit out next hand' option

    3) wait until you get moved tables

    4) ... witness this:

    [dealer] Player DEALACE1 has requested additional time. There are currently 60 seconds remaining for player DEALACE1 to act.

    5) You now have no tournament clock remaining and the other players at the table lost 1 minute of their game.

    Please make it so that when a player intentionally sits out, he remains sitting out until he decides to click the 'I am Back' button.

    As well, can you please put the buyins back on the title bar or elsewhere on the tables for sng's. Grinders need this info because it is impossible to get enough tables going of any 1 game type/ buyin and game play can vary based on game. So please make that info available on the table somewhere. (include tourney type (UT, turbo, reg) and buyin.)

    yeah...macs don't have a "right hand click" and neither ctrl-click (normally the equivalent) nor command-click seems to do anything

    I think what he was referring to is how the client makes the same beeping noise when the hand is dealt as when its your turn to act.

    yeah you're right. i just use a mouse along with my macbook so i have right hand click. ctrl-click isnt working for me either. i guess im the retarded one. sorry.

    Thx for the updates john! The Gtds. need to be in BOLD and COLOR, the white background does wash out what you are looking for. Need more skins for tables being the two choices we have now tilt me to death. Love some of the new tourny sched. additions, and cosign with the POKERRAPPER! Mook FTW!! Any reason the 5$r 7k guar cant be everynight? Thx again UB keep up the good work.

    yes ditto this..windows 7 did not like the update at all..i uninstalled and completely reinstalled the client and that seemed to get it working right...
