    Unfortunately this did not happen to me....but this is a great story. Not sure how many of ya'll know this but Oklahoma just passed the law allowing all the Indian casinos we have to open poker rooms!! Yay for meeeeeee! Anyways, one of my friends went to play and this is what happened......If you need a place to stay when you come, let me know...b/c after reading this you will want to visit!
    My friend sits at a 2-5NL table. For some reason in early postion he decides to play Q9 for a limp in. There are 4 other limpers. BB checks. Flop comes Q89. My friend bets the pot and gets one caller. Turn is 5. My friend again bets the pot....then...here comes the good part....guy FOLDS J10 face up and says "I'm not gonna chase the flush!"
    Poor guy...dealer apparently said "Sir, do you know you just folded the nuts?"

    I played 2 weekends ago over in West Siloam and made almost $400 at the 2-4 tables in a little over 2 hours. Not much to most people but for me it made my night. Then I entered a $40 tournament and got sucked out a couple of posistions away from the money, but still the poker there was pretty bad and I was happy with my play. It's nice now to have live poker so close for those of us in Western Arkansas.

    Court...I am an Okie in Norman also. Haven't had a chance to get out to any of the live games. What casino would you suggest?

    Pnkranger: I heard that the games at the new Seminole casino in Tulsa are loose. I am actually gonna start dealing at Thunderbird Casino in Norman...it is straight down Hwy 9. The poker room is scheduled to open April 11th. There is gonna be 2-4 limit, 4-8 limit, 5-10 limit, 2-5 no limit, and 5-10 no limit to start out with along with some Omaha Hi/Lo and 7 card stud tables! Also....I am not sure what stakes you play but I host a home game in Norman every Thursday night. If you are interested in that, post your email on here and I will send you one with details.

    i really hope more casinos around here open poker rooms soon. i went to newcastle gc the other day (like 6 miles from my house) and they have their tables setup for poker but they werent playing and they wouldnt give me a date on when they will be. its just going to drive me nuts dealing juicy games at thunderbird and not having a place to play within 150 miles!
