    Sbrugby comes at a price though... their subscriptions are going up from 19.99 a month to 24.99 a month. I got an email today. It was like a "I got bad new and good news, which do you want first?" email.

    f jsup....i was just telling my friend whos in a slump he has to watch this new shrugby video...stingers my homeboy and i think hes amazing, but this video had me thinking like no other cardrunners video ever has...its his first video so i cant imagine how much better they are gonna get.....ive been on a break for a while now mostly because all these hacking stories and neteller stories have me worried, but watching this video kind of inspired me to start playing more and playing well...shrugby pwns

    If so, I call BS on that the same way I would if my bank mailed me and told me my car payment was going up 30% every month now.

    Ok, I just read it on the forum.

    unless someone can show me an agreement I agreed to when I signed up that said I would pay the up front membership and then pay a monthly fee that could go up at anytime without me agreeing to in advance then I expect my monthly payment to remain the same, or be refunded the entire amount I have paid to date for bad faith contract.

    I haven't heard of a good ole bait and switch scheme in a long time. It's beneath cardrunners I thought.

    You can do shyt like that. c'mon. That's business 101.

    You're subscription isnt going up for what you've already paid for. I'm assuming that for new subscribers and when the time comes to renew your subscription the price will be higher. Thats not uncommon at all.

    actually it is pretty uncommon. Here are the terms of service I agreed to when I signed up.

    By becoming a member of Cardrunners, LLC, you agree to the selected price of your membership or purchase in exchange for the service Cardrunners has agreed to provide. At the end of a term, Cardrunners will automatically renew the service unless Cardrunners is notified within two days of the end of the original agreement. User names may not be shared with other people. All Videos are property of CardRunners.com and may not be reproduced or shared with anyone else. Anyone caught violating these terms will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

    I agreed to the selected price, no more, no less. I expect Cardrunners to honor their terms of service.

    Well I paid for a 6 month membership. If after 6 months the price has gone up its up to me to choose whether or not I feel the new price is worth it or not to renew. Have you ever lived in an apartment? Rent increases are very very standard.

    edit-Sorry the arrows are pointing to the whiner not the guys post I responded under.

    You would ask for a refund as you stated in one of your earlier posts over five bucks a month....go for it. You do realize that you can't watch the videos that you downloaded 14 days after your last license download.

    Where in the contract (that doesn't exist) does it say a prices can never change.

    Sbrugby dropped about $2700 making this first video at much lower levels than he normally plays (where the donks do not respect his raises) and you whimper about $5? =)

    Any time you agree to pay a large lump of cash up front you should know you are getting involved in a situation where expectations will most likely not be recognized. If a service meets or exceeds the hype they would be better off giving the first month free. Business 102.

    When you signed up you were a Prospect, now you are a Customer. Sales 101.

    Seriously, his first video was worth at least the first two month's increase. His future videos should be even better.
