the watchdog is posting on casinomeister saying a superuser account if ridiculous and claiming not to be scott tom amid speculation that he is, but adanthar pretty much just owned him. he also has a p5's account
-
Wow you're quick ...
Rather than blow the horn on them, someone just 'accidentally' released all the information so that the puzzle could be pieced together, as you guys are doing a great job of now. -
<TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=2 width="100%" border=0><TBODY><TR><TD>maybe somebody on the inside with some integrity "leaked" this information (watergate_LOL) so that the culprit could be caught? </TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
I don't think it was sent on purpose, just not very likely. Unless of course the employee sent it anonymously and the email can not be tracked back to that employee. Then it's a possibility. -
Is better than any investigation team in the world. Every day i am rereminded just how much work and digging people have done! Its amazing! I hope that site gets blown the hell up. So sick, Im waiting on the end to see what really went down. I pulled all my money from there to UB then cashed out. Not a fan of whats been happening.

This is great that the public is slowly becoming aware of this. But looking ahead I could see this undoubtedly having a negative effect on online poker.
How many people will stop playing or not start playing online after hearing it truly was rigged? This could greatly deter a lot of new players from jumping on and continuing the economic poker cycle.
All naysayers will always point to this and say its rigged. There could be a lot of negative aftershocks from it.
Unfortunatly I don't think the majority of people will look at it optimistically by saying 'It's safe cuz the ones who try to cheat will get caught.' Hopefully I'm wrong. -
jenkins, what a fucking retarded post... yes, Scott Tom is the cool kid and all of us are huge nerds who get no girls... moron
-
Congrats scott on running quite possibly the stupidest con ever. Way to leave a trail a blind man could follow.

LOL @ JTB
Your mother taught me something COMPLETELY different, bro...
edit: OK, low blow. I'm just taking out my anger on you for calling me at 10:30am (when I went to bed around 6am). Seriously though, what's that about? -
I love how Waco says what he means, and means what he says. Whenever I feel the need to flame an idiot, I see that Jared has already taken care of the issue. Nice work, bro.
-
Plett25, 3rd place finisher in the Potripper tourney is playing on AP right now...amazing.
-
This is probably the worst thing that has ever happened in the history of online poker, from a players perspective. I gotta give a big time shout out to everyone that worked so hard in figuring all of this out, AJunglen, Waco, Adanthar, Nate, Snagglepuss, JoseM, Marco, and probably several more people. I can't express how much it means to me to have such great minds out there with great intentions. The only thing that keeps me coming back to online poker is knowing that guys like you all are 1000X smarter than the jokers that try to pull off this shit, at least the ones that we know about.

#1.) Thank God for those with honor who cared enough to find and disclose those who would steal so blatantly from us...
#2.) A committee needs to be formed to list demands from the players, most certainly with Nat and Adam on board. This committee should research several issues, pertaining to but not limited to:
- A. Reparations for those stolen from. Not just reimbursement, but heavy fines and double reimbursement for having attempted to steal from the players. Violating our trust needs to have a heavy, heavy cost.
- B. Obviously Scott Tom needs to lose his job. There is no way for us to know the extent of this fraud. We don't know if he is financially in a bind to the wrong people, if he is a coke freak etc. We also do not know if he is complicit with OTHER AP officials.
- C. Since we do not know the extent of the criminal activity (this was not a multi accounting deal, this was real world actual crime, which has legal and jail time implications)... Therefore a complete forensic accounting audit needs to be performed at AP, obviously with oversight from an intelligent representative of the players, aka Nat if he is so willing.
- D. We need to have disclosure and background checks for all members of the AP board, if there is one. Further, we need to know if this board is simply a "shell" operation or if it is composed of actual business people with integrity who have something to lose if AP does not survive.
- E. Due dilligence and oversight of ALL of the players money needs to happen immediately, We do not know to what extent the owner is in trouble in other aspects of his life. For all we know he may owe $50 million to a Columbian drug cartel etc... Because of this all funds at AP/UB need to be frozen to the extent that it may not be removed from player trust accounts. I do not mean frozen so that players can't withdraw their money, I mean frozen from ownership having access to moving the money to accounts that may allow for him to flee to a non extraditing country etc.
Certainly there are a million more issues at stake here. This is just the beginning.
REMEMBER THIS... AP will certainly try to respond with a BS story such as a programmer etc gained access to the his computer etc... There will most likely be a last ditch effort to cover up this whole sordid affair. DON'T fall for it. We have the information proving who the culprit is, yet they will try to wave the magic wand and hope we are gullible. IF any of this was the work of someone other than the CEO we would have had a resolution by now. The reason there his been steadfast denial and further silence on AP's part is quite frankly they have no outs... no where to run, no where to hide.
The only saving grace out of all of this is that the percent chance of the players affected by the superuser accounts being reimbursed goes up exponentially. Now that we have definitive proof that it was an inside job then restitution PLUS damages should certainly be forthcoming.

This is some crazy Shit
GG Absolute -
I just opened Ultimate (I don't know why I play there either so spare the lecture) and there was no mention of the absolute to ultimate money transfers. The website still has it up there but it is interesting to note that the actual site isn't promoting this option everywhere.
Must suck when your own parent company apparently is shunning you.
Smart business move, unlike acquiring Absolute in the first place.
Under -
excellent work all, wow!
-
Only played Absolute a few times but I'm a UB fanboy.
I will no longer play UB after this. I'll miss the interface, but it's just not worth it.
Nice job by Nat, Waco, Marco and all involved. We appreciate it. -
i like how jenkin's greatest online win is "ulitmate bet", what kind of tourney did you win that in???
