  1. So I am playing on Saturday, and out of nowhere I get an AIM from a "sarahasani". I have no idea who this person is, but she tells me "hi" and that she has seen me on some forums, and noticed that I do well on stars, etc... I pretty much know where this is going, but out of boredom, I decide to allow the conversation. Well she claimed that she wanted some help and someone to stake her in low buy in tourneys. I immediately tell her that I don't stake, and after hearing this, she asked me if she could add me on myspace... Still bored, and intrigued by what was coming next, I give her my myspace information, and she added me...

    Here is her myspace...

I had my suspicions but after seeing her myspace, I was thoroughly convinced that she was dude. If you look on her (his myspace), you will notice that she (he) only has 10 friends, and all the friends seem to be dudes who got random invites. She recently moved to SJ, but there is no evidence of her having a previous existence.

Anyways, she asked me a couple more times to stake her, and I told her the same answer. She did want to talk on the phone (which discredits the dude theory) but when I told her that I didn't stake, she became very pushy. By this time, my feelings of boredom had now subsided, and I was getting pretty agitated, so I told her to plz stop wasting my time.

Well on Sunday night, after taking some of Quassi's hard earned dollars in Golden Tee, and having a few beers, I came home to find her IM'ing me. She claimed that she was about to start a 4$, 180 man, so I thought it would be the perfect time to trap this individual. I gave "her" my number and told her to call me right away, so I could give her tourney advice before you play. Well, wouldn't you know it, her sister had her cell phone, blah blah blah...

So she pings me AGAIN today. She wants to talk to me on the phone about staking her. I tell her NO for the 100th time, and she starts calling me selfish, and she said, I bet you are Jewish or Asian... Anyways, long story short, I think the publicity that four6 got, has probably inspired a few others, to try to do the same... I just want to post this for the community so that no one falls in this trap...

And good knews... My boredom has subsided, but I still really want to know who this person is, as this is some of the better "scamming creativity" that I have seen lately.

  4. find out where she lives, she (he?) lives in my city I would be happy to investigate the femaleness of this person

  6. lol good work
  7. and her name is Dina,
man i'd think people would be at least a bit more original eh ? :D
  8. Honestly I don't think this has much/anything to do with 46. We've been seeing crap like this pretty much constantly since we started the site. Where people see opportunities to scam, they take it, and pretending to be an attractive female has been an effective scamming method over the internet for lots of people, apparently.

Now why in the world would a rational human being who claims to be your supporter think you're selfish for not sending them money? I wonder how these people actually think this crap will work on smart people, and likewise I wonder how anyone actually falls for it... The 46 thing was entirely different and a lot more thought out

  11. tell her to meet you in person and talk business....(if you know what im sayyyyyyyin)
  12. Adam,

I agree that the 46 identity is a different scenario, but all of these scams start off on a smaller stage. I think that four6's biggest advantage was the fact that Luke was able to win a couple of sizeable tourneys early and get the added exposure.

  17. Gimme some time, he messaged me about 8-10 months ago, and I have my AIM records saved on my old computer, but its ridiculously slow, I'm pretty sure he told me his real name, and the girl he was impersonating at the time was his ex-gf.
  18. Why is everyone neglecting the real question here?

Are you Jewish or Asian? Cmon you can tell us!

  30. LOL, I posted this a few days ago.

    http://www.pocketfives.com/B1C183BC-...7C6ADA6B2.aspx

She/He or He/She had 4 friends at the time. one from the Neatherlands, one from Texas, one I don't remember and one from where she claimed to have just moved to.

I checked the myspace a day or two after the incident to see if she got anyone and then I see jeff's myspace as her #4 top friend.
