Final table bubble and one guy sitting at about 2 big blinds at the other table. Rdcrsn hasn't been 3 betting much since he hasnt really had the chips to do so. A few hands prior to this he chipped up nicely. Whats your play and why?

lolo dude, turbo super super duper muck
-
very tough spot but you have to fold here. I dunno know much rdcrsn's style (I know he's a top MTT player) but at this stage in the tourney I'd have to muck and hope for a better spot (at the FT).
-
bc you are behind, i think thats easy enough to understand. u made it 16k, he goes 126k, lol im sure he folds there a ton
-
I'd muck so fast my index finger would break.
Guy has 2 bbs and you wanna get froggy with a solid guy like rdc?
Mind bottling man. -
say what u want. no chance u are ever ahead. ever. id bet my life on it
-
LOL @ everyone saying this is a snap fold, we have AJ 5 way iirc
If I fold, it'd be for two reasons: first, the guy with 2 bbs, there may be something to be said for just making it to final table; second, the limited experience I have with rd he has been very tight. That having been said, he is clearly a competent MTT player, and I'd be pretty stunned if he actually shows up w/JJ+ AQ+ here a majority of the time. You should be folding heaps b/c the short stack, so this should be an insanely profitable spot to re-steal for rd, but in a spot where he can pull off a 3b/fold, he esssentially jams you. I'm thinking thats like mid/smallish pair/KQ/AT/AJ/Axs, and maybe his big hands too (at least sometimes), but without history it seems absurd to think a competent player would do this with only the nuts. -
Not saying it isnt a fold, i'm just curious as to your reasons instead of just 'lol ur behind gg.' when its button raise vs big blind resteal in a PERFECT spot to exploit bubble play.

If its cuz rd only plays the nuts and is an ultra nit, say that. -
lol jesus against him? this has to be a fold nearly every time. apparently funnygut cares not for rdcrsn's range here.
-
A - I said a fold is conceivable here iirc.

B - I said rd has been tight in my limited exp for him.
C - If his range is actually weighted to mostly JJ+/AQ+, that's absurd.
Agreed? -
Rdcrsn is tight in my experience, but that experience is limited, as I'm sure it is for you too Ibiza. So I have no clue why you're acting like you know his range range here so much better than funnygut... especially considering the fact that funnygut is a better player than you.

Moreover, if Rdcrsn doesnt have worse hands in his range ever here, then I have no friggin clue how he consistantly beats HSMTTs. And that's not me questioning his game obv, that's me saying that his range "can't" be something stupidly nitty like AQ+/88+ or w/e. He'd be ridic easy to play against. -
You must be leveling. That or you've just discovered some weird/unique way to nut-hug 2 good players and want to flaunt it.
Rd's range doesn't have to be absurdly wide for this to be a close spot, so stop acting like it does. -
lol. his range can be FARRR from ATC and this still be a profitable call. like i said i dont know this player at all really besides that he is ranked. im opening a pretty wide range on this button and i feel like r/f with AJ in this spot against a HSMTTer has to be bad. if you guys are right saying he is nitty obv just void any of what im saying, but i was just trying to generalize it since i dont know his game.
-
That makes no sense.
-
op the fact that u are random( or so i think) to rdcrsn is why his range is nitty to u, if he knew u as a good lag he would shove wider, but 25bbs he isnt gettin in vs an unknown w worse. u are often flipping, bc im sure he shoves most every pair but the only hand i ever see u being ahead of is QK but im not sure if he doesnt flat QK pre. basically Aj has horrid equity vs rd shoving here
-
i can kinda dig this. im still not sure tho. but i was imagining the hand w/ my image.

What the hell are you even talking about? Did you even read what your buddy wrote? He quotes funnygut, then goes and completely skews what funnygut said to "make a point." It made 0 sense "brah".
-
so try to teach him instead of attempting to make him look like a jackass.
-
You said, "If his effective 3 bet shove range is air gl here I guess." No one even came close to saying that, nor did anyone imply that Rd's range has heaps of air in it.
