  1. I was playing in a home game the other night and an interesting comment that I have never heard came up. I was in a big hand heads up with one person and on the flop there had been 4 raises between him and I. I reraised a 5th time and he said that I couldn't do that and there was a cap of the number of raises per betting round. I know there in limit there is a max of 4 reraises, but have never heard of that in NL. So I was wondering is there a cap on the number of raises per betting round in NL???
  2. No cap whatsoever.... That's why they call it NL.
  3. no
  4. Ive seen this before, obv its retarded, but not impossible to run into

You can play a capped NL game where the total pot can't exceed X amount of dollars but I've never heard of a game where the number of bets/raises is capped.
  6. How do you get to a 5th reraise in a NL game that is not "All-In"????
  7. A5 v Q9 pot control

Both of us has around 60-70 BB and the flop came A 2 2. I had QQ, he was bluffing. So both of us were reluctant to push all in but were putting in raises.

    level?
  10. He ended up folding after my 5th raise, but if one of us would have pushed all in the other would have folded, that is what I was getting trying to say. It was after the hand that he mentioned the cap.

Was this at the Seminole Hard Rock?? My friend plays at the there and he said they have the cap there, which is where I was assuming it came from. But until he mentioned it I have never heard of it.
