My brother is at the FT of event number 1 and doesnt have chat. Anyone know how he can make a deal? He emailed them and asked but their support sucks.

They just made the deal, and unless I saw it wrong, your brother got a deal that 99% of players would never have given him.

I don't know what your talking about with 99% of players wouldnt give him the deal. He only received 8k more then the original payout. I think he should have declined it and played it out...This is obv his biggest score and his results aren't great but no need to hate...congratulate.

Its over now, but I believe OP's brother was down 6:1 in chips and CL gave him like 7k more than 2nd place money and left 10k to play for. I guess not a turrible deal but if I have that 6:1 lead, Im not making any deal unless I'm getting more than 1st place money which wouldnt happen in a headsup deal. I could be off on that but thats what I think I saw.
Now that I typed it out and re-read it, I guess its a pretty standard deal. I was just surprised that CL wanted to deal at all. -
I agree with you 100%. I was just surprised either player wanted to deal considering the stacks. Either way, WP OP's brother, congrats on the score.

Terrible for the short stack, great for the CL. Payouts were 134k to 193k plus if u deal have to leave 10k so lets say 134k to 183k and he took 141K thus costing him 52k imo. I know a lot of you will say but he got the 10k additional..... well if he won anyways he would have gotten 193k. No real value for the short stack to do the deal, great deal for the CL save himself 41k. Short stack 8K gained if he lost or 52k additional if he won 52k>>>>>>8k not even close. Anyways congrats to both I wish could make a bad deal for 141k!

To answer the original question: If a player makes a final table and doesn't have chat enabled, it will be automatically re-instated during the deal discussion (and only for the deal discussion).
