  1. I have been a member of the p5s community for several months now, but have not posted yet on the forums. I respect this community as it has provided me with invaluable advice in my quest to become a profitable online poker player. This being said I wanted to here some feedback on a hand that went down during the final table of the tilt 400k last sunday night. I have noticed lately that at many huge final tables such as the Sunday Million people are making unquestionably -EV calls for a large percentage of their stacks, or shoves w weak aces when there stack has well over enough blinds to play solid poker, and easily move up in the money or take down the tourney outright. Before you read this HH know that I had been playing very solid poker while playing w the villain, only showing down very big hands and folding several times to reraises preflop. Given this information Check out this hand and tell me whether u think this was a good call made by ibluffuout for a good percentage of his stack, who coincidentally made the final of both the tilt 400k and stars sunday mil. Disregard the final result, as it left me wanting to throw up all over my computer and throw my comp out the fukin window.

  2. he got there by being hyper aggressive, and donked off all of his chips by the same too.

he luckboxed his way to the ft on stars as well.

Not to say he isnt a good player, he's just an incredibly lucky one, with no sense of reads or caring what he calls hands down with
  3. You pays your nickel and you takes your chances. You don't want that call?
  4. of course you dont want that call. he hit his flush.

    flush > two pair.
  5. i don't like his play at all

u raised from 2nd pos. and re-shoved him i don't see how he can possibly think AQ is good

  6. that is where u sigh you throw ur computer and then u consume as much alcohol as possible and cry in a corner

  7. I have seen worse calls and he already had 200k invested so I dont think It was that bad of a call.
  8. obv he was 99.9% sure you had JJ, he hit the .1% chance, perfect play by him
  9. being 6 handed, having chips even if he loses and getting 2:1 on his money, this is a call for most aggro players as they represent worst hands than others and thus get play back at with worst hands too.
  10. i believe it was 7 headed... but even with an aggro image, iono about that call at those stakes... from what ive read on here about those tournies is that the play gets much more intense and people get better at making those kinds of lays (if the person is good). but at the same time isnt that the same thing someone could/would do with air if he thought the other person folds? (again, at those stakes)
  11. The topic of this post was not regarding whether or not i wanted the call, believe me i did. The question is whether or not this is a good call for more than half of your stack against a more solid tight playing opponent such as myself, with what i would consider a marginal hand in this situation. A hand i consider to be overplayed very often in mtts, as u often do run into AK, KK, or even AA, and at best you are racing without the best odds to do so.
