    Some other channel will probably pick it up. Too many people watched it just to drop the show.

    The ratings for poker having been falling steadily. I don't see these shows being picked up by any other network.

    shows might get lower ratings

    but poker site commercials have totally dominated this years hockey season on tv :) Thank the lord.

    This was the last poker show on tv that i could stomach...i hate the wpt..but err...nah the wsop is pretty good

    WPT has been MUCH better this year, now that they changed the FT blind structure

    I still really like the WSOP coverage, but HSP was definitely the best. It would fit best on ESPN if they'd shell out for it.

    GSN better get their heads out of their dumb ass quick! How can they let a top rated show just die?? WTF?? What are they going to replace it with reruns of Love Connection??

    And besides do we really want AJ Benza out of work roaming the streets? Give the producers what they want and make this happen damnitt GSN!

Which won't be a bad thing at all cos they really focus on the table banter,which is what i loved bout high stakes. The bad bit bout it is, if it is by the peeps that do poker after dark, they need banter players cos the commentary on PAD sucks. I will certainly miss Gabe taking the piss out of the players and AJ Benza. Note to NBC employ Gabe Kaplin, the king of commentators!

    Magnus ver Magnusson and a whole bunch of Poles and other swedish guys named xxxxxxxxson might object, but the endless reruns of world's strongest man on the Deuce could make way for a poker show with decent production values (and gabe without such a sketchy partner) and the ratings couldn't possibly be lower. Could they?

    howard stern interviewed aj benza the other day and aj mentioned that they were waiting for hsp to get picked up..
