IN BEFORE THE LOCK!!!! SCT is one of the actual people who plays solid poker, imo...but lets not start another 10 page thread on a dick/not a dick. He makes just as any bad plays as other ppl at certain times. He even said oops like oh duh shouldn't have done that.
-
lol he said oops because he looked like an asshole after a horrific play. How can anyone honestly justify that play? You can't and if you say you can your a moron.

He played that hand absolutely awful. -
mad respect to sct. he plays awesome, great score. but that hand is absolutely brutal. possibly worst 5 bet jam ive ever seen. but everyone makes poor plays, i know i do shit that i know is bad all the time. this comment is just reffering to the dude that highlighted the hh and said "teach me." please dont model that hand.

For the sake of pot odds, i think that SC's shove may not have been as well thought out as his plays might normally be, but the way the hand was played, SC looks to have a huge hand here. doesn't he?
Perhaps this is why I suck, but i'd have a hard time calling off my last $216K with QQ against such aggressive betting (esp. with the blinds at the level they were at)... I mean, unless you've had extensive history with someone and truly understand their tendencies, how do you call with QQ in that spot? Seriously, aside from pot odds, wouldn't you think you were way behind in that spot? Couldn't that justify a decision to fold despite the price you're getting?
These are sincere questions and if someone could provide insight to help me suck less at poker, i'd appreciate it :) -
gonna say this in the nicest way possible... u have alot to learn

I truly believe Frank1The1Tank is the worst thing to happen to Pocketfives, ever...
-
Because vs. a range of JJ+ and AK, QQ is almost 48%. With all the extra chips in the pot it would be very +EV to call. If his range is ANY wider (such as garbage like KQo) it just makes it that much more profitable.

I am not really sure what's so wrong with 4 betting the 2nd chip stack at a FT kind of light.
I also wonder if any of you were paying attention closely enough to have any idea what the history or images were at this table -
This is a good example of why DD is one of my heroes. Any other person would've said GTFO, GFY, and such.

I 3< DD -
SCTrojans is actually 5 betting, which is much different than 4 bet bluffing.
-
.
-
Fair enough and the FE was sort of thin.. i guess, but i still wouldn't say whether or not this is terrible if i have no read on the table dynamics
-
5 bet bluffing giving ur opponent way more than 2:1 is standard no?
