  1. Originally, I was pissed about FTP letting yet another opponent come from a 2:1 deficit to win the hand......but then I wondered if his play was correct. I hate to admit it but I think it is based on his pot odds and his stack size ...just looking for some thoughts and a bit of clarification on how to calculate when I should be making these kinds of calls myself to make this a profitable play over the long run.

    Thanks.

  2. Theres 1,440 already in the pot... I dont see anyway that hes not getting it in there with a pair and a flush draw. <input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"><input onclick="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" type="hidden">

    Ronal Reagan? The actor?

And no I wouldn't fold his hand either.

    Also, shove pre.

  5. Shove pre, there's a ton of money in the pot before it gets to you, and you can probably scoop it up without a fight. You don't have odds to set mine, and jamming is way better than folding. EZ game.
  6. Shove pre. And the villain played his hand correctly as well, especially since he probably put you on an over pair or two overcards. If the villain assumes you have an overpair the villain has 14 outs and should be calling every time.
  7. shove pre , as played, dont shove the flop

  8. Did anyone say shove pre?

I disagree. You have the best hand on the flop and it's a draw heavy board with a huge pot relative to your remaining chips. Shove the flop and hope to push out most of the flush draws.
  10. bet 420, and dont be scurred

agreed, I usually check fold the nuts. Pretty standard

I know that makes little sense to the average noob but in poker it is so important to control your emotions. When you flop the nuts and get bad beat it can easily tilt the strongest of minds. If you avoid these situations of potential bad beats your mood will thank you later. Tilt free poker FTW
  12. Shove pre, don't shove flop, bet, call shove, or shove turn if he calls your bet. There is no way your opponent is folding a pair and a flush draw vs. you and your short stack.

Normally, yes check/raise the flop. But this is 7 handed and the first 5 players checked. I'm not checking and hoping the the last person to act will bet at the pot and risk the other 5 getting a free card on a draw heavy board.

edit: especially when remaining stack is <1400 and pot is ~1700
