    I never said you need to believe a site is rigged to wear a tin foil hat. Tin foil hats can be worn by non-conspiracy theorists too.

    It's also not the same thing to say you witnessed a statistical anomaly as opposed to saying there is an anomaly in the RNG. Statistical anomalies are expected, anomalies in the RNG are not.

    Ok before anyone starts to take this thread out of control with people saying "your crazy, get a life, dont talk bull, blah blah blah...

    I play on average 8-10hous a day online at dise and get to see alot of hands that are played not just at my table but when watching friends etc, and of course you get to play and see many more hands online because its quicker as we all know.. so yes we do see lots of bad beats, ...good hands winning,... fullhoses, quads, and on occasions the royal flushes.

    Although i havent noticed a glut of quads this is beacause i play primarily on Paradise, but this is what i have noticed now for the last 6months...

    Say for instance you get dealt a pocket pair 66 for example and you get to see the flop and you miss hitting your set.. and fold.

    I have noticed that 70-80% of the time that a 6 will then flop on the board the very next hand.

    You obv notice it more when it happens to you cos you berate to yourself "oh why couldnt that of happened the hand before" or the old addage "flop lag" comes into your head.

    But even when you see a showdown from another hand played for example when a player goes all in with their pocket pair and they get outdrawn with overcards... i know for a fact that the next hand i can almost garuntee that the card will pop up the very next flop as i say 70-80% of the time..

    Well i thought i would share this observation with all you other players and hopefully you can take advantage from this, as i always play a hand if the betting allows if im dealt the card in qusetion. BTW its not just me who has noticed this i have spoken in length to a friend who plays as much or even more than me on Paradise with the very same obsevation.

    Jsbyun, respectfully, I disagree with your "tinfoil hat" disparagement! People can notice anomalies in the RNG and still not be saying it's rigged! They don't need a "hat"...they're just pointing out that strange things happen. I watch a lot more than I play and I, too, have seen lots of strange beats! Does that mean it's rigged or that I need a hat? NO! Just that I notice.

    Do you have PokerTracker? If so you could easily prove or disprove your own theory. I don't want to be disparaging or rude, I just think the best way to deal with questions about the randomness is to actually check the numbers. It also may allay any fdears you have about things being strange.

    If the turn card on poker stars is black theres a 70% chance the river card will be black also.:)
