  1. I have never done this in the past, and i know i should be..so can someone quickly sum up what they take notes about..ie bet sizing hands shown down etc??
  2. I just put start with really broad notes like good, thinking player or clueless. Usually works pretty well until you play with the person for a while.

  3. stack size in relation to blinds, action, position, board

That's pretty much it, if you see someone limp/fold utg, make note of it. Take note of shoving ranges etc.
  4. I basically take notes on anything that I think will help me in the future. I usually start with aggressive, semi-aggressive, conservative. Then get into things like "limps, but folds to normal raise".
  5. i dont really write much i use the color codes for fish/good/avg.

station, high blind limper, TAG LAG.
  6. Ok guy thanks, i'll start doing all of that

  8. I think note taking is pretty key...i take a wide range of notes. fishes, nits etc. raising utg, 3 bets lights, betting patterns, all sorts of stuff. I also feel like i have an edge when i have notes on 4 or 5 players at a full ring game.
