  1. hey,

this is for all the people who have and use multiple computers when playing cards online.

what do we have to do to make it so that (and i'm just referring to stars and tilt: the sites i mainly play on) these sites keep our notes as an account and not a per-computer thing?

i travel a fair amount so i play on my laptop when i'm out of town, but when i'm at home i use my office setup the majority of the time and for each computer, the notes that are saved are just per compter. if that doesn't make sense, i mean i save notes when i'm playing on my laptop and when i go to using my computer in my office, the notes are only the one's i've saved on that specific computer.

it would be nice if all notes saved where saved on each account instead of per-computer. i guess i could be being naive with that having to involve daily updates but yeah it would definitely be nice.

if anyone has any insight i'd appreciate hearing it.

    thanks!
  2. I've been wondering about this too. I did come across a FTP proggie a while ago that did some sort of export, but it would just overwrite whatever you had. I know it's not the same, but the only possibility I've come across is setting up a database with HEM on a external drive. It sort of becomes unreasonable to lug it around all the time and there's a bit of added lag.
  3. Glad someone pointed it out. I thought some donkey changed his name a little or re accounted with a slight variation so I had to retype his donkeyness all over again. Now I see it isnt the other players but PS not having notes based on account but computer. How lame is that? Time to email pokerstars. I have so many notes on different people going back to win I played play money and I do use two computers as one is at home and other at my office. Note to everyone reading this; Put the date on the note as players can get much better as months or years go on.
  4. Just go into your fulltilt directory & save your notes to a USB memory stick, then put them onto other puter (& vice versa).

It's super easy to do. I actually always keep my notes saved on a USB, as I've experienced it in the past where I had to uninstall/re-install FTP after an update & lost all of my notes. Never have to worry about this again now.

(u can email FTP if you can't figure out how to do it... you can also email your notes to yourself & then copy/save & transfer them over from there too if you want).
