Almost every time I take a note on someone on stars, the next time they are at my table the note is gone. Does this happen to anyone else? Is there anything I can do about it?

They don't go anywhere I can promise that as I have been playing for 6 years at stars and come across notes all the time.

Mine do disappear, I'm sure of it. At first I thought it must be my imagination, but today I came across two players that I specifically remember taking notes on yesterday and the notes were both gone. Not all my notes disappear but a fair amount of them do. Am I really the only one this happens to? Maybe it's just a problem with my computer or something.

If you make a note on someone, and something happens to your stars client (I.E. power outage, PC freezes) the not will NOT be saved. This is because when you close the client, it writes the notes to file. While stars is opened the notes are held in memory.

ive had stars notes disappear too. im 100% of this. one thing u must make sure of that u shut down ur stars client down properly. For instance like homeboy said above, if ur computer happened to just shut off, notes would not save for that particular time.

Thanks guys. I'm sure that's what's been happening as I tend to just leave my computer on and leave pokerstars running most of the time until one of them crashes (smart I know), so I'll make sure to shut off Stars after a session from now on.

Not trying to be a jerk, but are you sure you are saving the notes after you type them? If you type 99% of it and then its ur turn, you never save and whooopsie....gone. Just an idea.

I've had this happen occassionally. I know I've written notes on them previously as it was during priv./league mtt's.
