Since you are a newby, you must understand that the biggest equity lead you probably have pre-flop is 60:40.
<span><span><table border="1" cellspacing="0"><tbody><tr><th>Hand</th><th>Pot equity</th><th>Wins</th><th>Ties</th></tr><tr><td>AdKcQhTh</td><td>46.72%</td><td>507,391</td><td>0</td></tr><tr><td>5h5s4h4s</td><td>53.28%</td><td>578,617</td><td>0</td></tr></tbody></table></span></span>
In this situation, it's a coin-flip: equity wise and you are on the down side of the coin.
What really works for his hand is his two pair has 23.75% equity to his a sets alone. It also has blockers for you flush draw. He also has a live flush draw in spades. If all low cards come, he's usually freerolliing you with str8 draws and made pairs.

<table border="1" cellspacing="0"><tbody><tr><th>Hand</th><th>Pot equity</th><th>Wins</th><th>Ties</th></tr><tr><td>AdKcQhTh</td><td>84.02%</td><td>689</td><td>0</td></tr><tr><td>5h5s4h4s</td><td>15.98%</td><td>131</td><td>0</td></tr></tbody></table></span></span>
On the flop, you pick up the lions share of equity but he's got a flush draw and doesn't know he's dominated, but he's probably not going anywhere since it's HU situation.
<span><span>board: KhTc6h4c
<table border="1" cellspacing="0"><tbody><tr><th>Hand</th><th>Pot equity</th><th>Wins</th><th>Ties</th></tr><tr><td>AdKcQhTh</td><td>35.00%</td><td>14</td><td>0</td></tr><tr><td>5h5s4h4s</td><td>65.00%</td><td>26</td><td>0</td></tr></tbody></table>
</span></span>
On the turn, he takes the lead with a set and gets his money in good.
What can you learn from this hand? The equity swings in HU PLO are large after the flop.
