Account just started a week ago. I played with him for hours yesterday, obv not a random noob, and obv not his first account. This shit is so blantant and tilting. u have no idea who u are really playing. -
i bet there is a few k's of these
-
Does suck and it's really stupid people do that....just adjust like you would a random except just assume he knows what he is doing and is a capable thinking player until otherwise shown. Maybe try and compare what kind of style he has with other people you might think MA?

I still don't understand why the sites protect cheaters and multi-accounters. Publish the name (real and screen) of those found to have cheated (include IP addresses as well).
Wouldn't it also be nice to know who funded these accounts as well (i.e. I doubt that someone got $40k worth of entries into their online account through their [bank name edited] checking account). -
Pretty much agree. People get caught for multi-accounting and then the sites keep things private to protect them. It just doesn't make sense.

FatalError seems to be on his rail. Maybe he knows who it is?
-
maybe he's just a reg on party poker and decided to make an account on stars to try out the wonderful scoop series

really unlikely. its 2010, hes just now made a stars account? ok, OJ is probably innocent too. canadians seem to be the biggest multiaccounting apologists.
i mean, alot of the past or known recent multiaccounter's are just big monkeys or suck anyway, would just kinda be nice to know which particular tard your playing. -
Haha that tard is about to make a 2k scoop FT...mbsfn...god ship the new acct rig. Everyone takes a lil while to adjust to the site/structure/etc. So dumb stars actually wants the guy to win lol.
EDIT: hope when online poker dies everyone has a huge thread about how much they cheated and how much they raped by cheating. -
its ridiculous that people get accused for multi accounting because they dont play much on a site, or havent played on the site and maybe they decide to put money on a site to play a special tournament like the scoop.
-
I agree it is ridiculous without proof, it is entirely possible they steered clear of stars to play on a site they are more familiar with and just deposited or got staked for a certain tournament(s), i meen no-one accussed isildur1 of MA'ing when he showed up out of nowhere to take durrrr for all those millions, infact it took cheating to stop him destroying other players.

That said, without the vigilance of the poker community then people who are MA'ing would get away with alot more than they do. -
Isildur is a completely different situation altogether.
really tho?? How long has SCOOP/WCOOP been going on. And they just now decided to deposit?? and play the highest stakes?? likely...
I respect scarface and doubt he would bring this up unless he was sure (or as sure as he could be). -
I used isildur as an example, basically saying that he played euro sites and built up a bankroll, he then deposited on FTP and crushed durrrr, to this day the less connected of us players still dont know his identity.

It's entirely possible that the guy OP is saying is a MA'er could have just been crushing tournaments on a site with less profile than stars, waited until he built up a decent amount and then decided to try stars SCOOP, after all there are other sites with tournament series each year other than stars and FTP.
I'm not saying that it isn't a MA'er, im just saying its possible and shouldn't be instantly guilty. -
This is STARS people. Everyone in the world who plays HSMTT has a screenname on Stars. It's is physically impossible for someone to be crushing 100 rebuys on other sites and all of a sudden be like "Oh I wonder how pokerstars is as a site? Maybe I'll go check that out too". No way. They would have made a name years ago, don't be so naive.
-
Maybe the time for use of screen names should be over. I mean you can't play live and hide who you really are (except maybe for Phil Laak). Maybe they should visibly list real names, cities, and countries.
Not that it would really help, but what location did wowspacekaex show? -
Account has only played in this year's scoop? He plays like a reg in 2ks after only 15 mtts on stars? I mean he must just have a quick learning curve, I guess. Sure would've been nice if I understood stack sizes, 3/4 betting, deep stacked play after 15 mtts.
-
Not every live pro plays online he might have just set up the account for scoop. Helmuth,Mike m,Jani Sountula and other well known tourny players only play stars for the big events it happens.
-
Pretty much this.
