  1. My friend and I play at a local bar on Friday nights. There are many who are fish there. We got talkin about a math problem related to last night's game. Im no good at the math.

If you wind up all in pre flop with A-Ko against 7-2o three consecutive times, covered all three times, what are your odds of being alive at the end of the third showdown?

    1st showdown- (YOU)67% vs. 33% (covered)
    2nd showdown- (YOU)67% vs.33% (covered)
    3rd showdown- (YOU)67% vs. 33% (covered)

What are your chances of being alive now?
  2. .67x.67x.67=about 30%

well thats the % you will win all 3.. is that what ur asking? Im not sure
  3. Thank you for the response. Yes, I wanted to know what is the percentage that you will still be alive after the 3rd all in. The answer is 1 out of 3 times I take it.

    Thank you.

  4. This of course assumes that one of the first two double ups does not leave you with a bigger stack than what you are facing in later hands.
