This is.. wait for it........... 100% truth!, and pretty funny imo.

Doubt there are more than 2 paid participants in this that are not playing Sunday.
<span>
Also, any idea when we are going to draft? Id vote for Friday afternoon or Saturday early evening.
Def dont wanna draft Saturday morning or mid day bc of full schedule + 1k HU.

i agree with kleath here.

the comp is 1/25-1/31, and it's not changing

thats terrible reasoning tbh... so what a lot of people in this competition aren't even playing 1ks probably... so what if you decide to skip out on 200s to play the 2600, a bunch of players who would skip the 1ks will skip the 2600 and play a lot more 200s than you will be playing.
Basically its all going to even out in the end , volume vs buyin as far as plbs and any reasoning to exclude sunday other than keeping it to 7 days is beyond an explanation imo. -
we're going to draft throughout the course of the day prolly start sometime in the afternoon, i'm not sure exactly what time. i'm going to make a thread to draft, and hopefully we can get as many people on aim as we can

i dont mind it counting but i think if there are a few people who don't want it counted we should not since a lot of people signed up when it did not count

again...the comp was originally 1/20-1/31 and a lot of people said it was too long/too this/whatever/blahblahblah. so it was changed to 1/25-1/31 so it would be one week.

frankly, the reasoning may be poor about the 2600 or w/e, but the fact of the matter is, it's too late now to change the dates. the rules and dates have been posted for a while now and people have sent money assuming agreeing to the rules posted. unless we can get unanimous concurrence in this thread from every person that has paid (which clearly won't happen in 2 days) then it's incredibly unfair to change the dates. -
I was all for including sunday but now that you've explained it this way I'm with you. It would definitely be unfair to change the rules.

fwiw, i want to include sunday also, but it's simply not feasible at this point.

there's always next time...but this is still going to be a nice sized competition with plenty of people and i'm still looking forward to it. -
I will play

It's not terrible reasoning you're just taking it completely out of context and arguing a completely different talking point

i couldnt care less but theres no reason strong enough to switch other than x person wants it this way if you really break it down -

yo'ure in, don't worry.
everyone that sends money before 12:00 on saturday will be in this competition (if there's an issue with having an even number of players we'll figure something out, really gonna do what i can to not have to kick out the last few players that send)
the list will be updated sometime today with who has paid, trying to get official entrants from dipthrong right now -
I will be a captain if needed. if not no worries
