  2. How has Jacob been playing?
  3. Not a good play...def fold.
  4. I'm not liking the shove here - the raise is from UTG + 1, and you've still got half the table to act behind you. IMO, you have enough chips to hang around for a little while longer - and I'm putting ASUjake on a better Ace or some kind of pocket pair here.
  5. Yeah pretty bad unless you have some awesome read on the raiser....but with whole table left to act it's even worse. Dont' need to get too out of line in lower buy ins with airish 3b.
  6. I would have waited. You have a whole lot of lower stacks behind you that will call with bigger ranges than you. Your not even down to 10 BB's yet and don't think Ace rag should be in your range yet. Only reason this play might be ok is because ASU is sitting with a healthier stack than most and if he has been raising pre a lot trying to steal the best scenario your going to see here is a 60/40 if he has something like KQ and that is BEST scenario. So I think fold and wait for a better spot. Still lots of poker left with 14BB's when all of the stacks but 2 are shorter than you.
  7. Thanks so much guys..as it turns out her had the AJ and i went BINK...chalk up another learned lesson :)

  8. yea don't like it, ASU is going to call way too often to make it profitable, and clealy not ever be behind unless he calls like KQ

  9. Def dont' shove this spot for all the reasons stated above. With this shove you're hoping to suck out or.........well you really just hoping to suck out because you will rarely get a fold here and almost never get called lighter than A3.

  10. Thanks again..for some reason during and after that hand i thought it was an "ok" play...now reading replys...i dont know how i was thinking that
