Trigger,
Hey...I live in Tulsa/Broken Arrow. The new poker room in Catoosa is pretty nice. They have about 40 tables. But the lowest they spread right now is $4-$8. They also have some No Limit tables w/ a $200 min. buyin. Haven't started tournements yet but they are in the works. GL -

Hello Hello! There are only 3 casinos that I know of in Oklahoma that are dealing poker right now.....Cherokee in Catoosa/Tulsa, Randalett in Lawton and the one I deal at in Norman. Cherokee is very nice...they run 38 tables and spread everything from 1-5 stud to 5-10 NL. They also have tournaments every morning that usually have about 85 people in them. I have played one of them and it runs kind of like a turbo online. Blinds escalating very fast and turns into kind of a whoever is luckiest thing...but they are only about $40 so might be worth it to some people. The only thing I've noticed about Cherokee is that the action seems a little tighter than the Norman one. I'm not sure if this is because we just opened or because it is super close to the University of Oklahoma...but there are lots of young people that play in Norman that have learned poker from TV, I think. We run 3-6 limit, 4-8 limit, 10-20 limit (sometimes), 2-5 NL, 5-10 NL (sometimes), 2-5 PL hold 'em, 2-5 PL omaha, and a 2-5 PL round of both. I have never been to the one in Lawton so I do not know what they spread. Alright, if anyone needs more info feel free to email me at OUSoonerCourt@yahoo.com. Make sure ya'll let me know if you come to the Norman one so I can say "Hi!"

Thats cool. I am stationed at Tinker. I have never been to any of the casinos around here. I play on party poker and thats about it. I have a hard time driving to the casino if I am making money online........Especially gas prices.. It gets old paying that high ass price all the time. What year are you in at school? I love to hear it when a Texan comes across the Red River. Makes my Crimson and Cream Veins tremble, and get that much more pumped for football season. Do you know Jacque Fowler? She went to OU and goes to Dallas quite a bit to see friends. She is my sis-in-law....Just curious.

Where is El Reno. I am originally from Guymon, but joined the military to see the world and I got Tinker. I think I have seen signs to go to El Reno on my way home on I-40 headed towards the Trading Post. Am I on the right path here. I would love to take my wife out to the Casino, but I heard some of them are not run bery well, and they only cater to the "high rollers".
