You don't mention anything about the 10 hands he played which you observed. Did you have a read on him? If not, I'd fold, since your kicker is mediocre and he could certainly have you outkicked or have A 10 or a set (altho he would probably check raise with a set).

$2 tournament, itch calls and leads out, he probably has a weak ace here and is seeing if he's good. The best hand I could see him doing this with is A10, and since that would be 2 pair, and there are no draws on the board, there is no reason for him to do this.
Most of the time at this level, it's a move used by slightly better players to see if their weaker holdings are good. The ace is there, and you probably fold if you don't have one.
I think you might have gotten hit though with your weak raise. I know it is fashionable now when the higher blinds hit to raise less. But, it's a $2 tournament here. People really overplay aces at this level, and you're going to potentially have some tough spots if your called.
Your hand is weak too. Your goal here is to pick the pot up preflop. So, I think you have to raise it 3x and at least force him to show he has something.
As is, I think you have to push. You are likely ahead. I just can't see a big hand leading out here. AK, AQ, AJ are all checking to you here. 2 pair is checking to you. Sets are checking to you.
Logical lead out hands (something like mid pairs (like 88), KT, weak A, will lead out, and you are ahead of these. I think you have to push all information given, but it's an ugly spot. -
Completely disagree with everything you've said

Tough ? since you didn't raise enough with the blinds and antes. He needs to call $6000 into a pot of over $19000. He could have anything. I fold this since you have limited information and he is leading out.

I say push and I think thats what you did. Shot in the dark, but Im guessing you pushed, he called with a better hand and you hit runner runner flush.
