  2. Well, you get a cheap flop and make 2-pair. (top&bottom). This is not a great hand in full ring play. Even so, I think the bet on the flop is reasonable. If no one has anythiing you could take it down. You must think about what you're doing though.

    "You are out of position."

Don't build big pots OOP. You don't say what you have seen the opponents doing and this is a $5.00 tournament. They will chase weak and/or strong to get there. You were called, so you know he has something. I recommend a check on the turn for pot control. You may already be beat by a set or better two pair when you are called.

The turn brings all kinds of draws into play and you may have a hard time showing down this hand. If you check and the villan puts in a strong bet, you should fold the turn. This board is not in your favor.

Some on this forum will say this is weak play. It's only weak if you plan to be a long term loser. Bet and raise with strong hands and strong draws in PLO. Weak 2-pair hands aren't big winners. You win small or lose big trying to protect the weak hands.
  3. MYBLUEDOG said exactly what I was thinking.

On the flop, you may be a winner, so you were right to try to take it down. Once you are called, you really need to go into defensive mode. You are out of position and your hand is not very strong.

I would certainly check the flop, only calling a bet if it is small and the person doing the betting is someone that I've seen get out of line with just top pair. Even then, I'd probably lean towards folding, because there are too many ways that you are going to lose.

Position in Omaha is extremely important. More so than in Hold 'em. Definately don't put money into a pot where you have no idea where you are and you are out of position. It is a very quick way to end up on the rail.
