  2. Because you MUST use two and exactly two cards from your hand at showdown.

Meaning, you can't use just one card (or play the board) like in texas hold 'em.

In the example above 2,3 is the nut low.
  3. Well, not quite.

Because the Ace on the Board counterfeits your Ace, and because you MUST use 2 cards from your hand, your low is [ 8, 7, 4, 2, A ].

    His low was [ 7, 5, 4, 3, A ].

It's the highest card in the low that determines the winner. 7 is lower than 8.
  4. Sorry for the inexact explanation. I've only played Omaha Hi/Lo twice by accidentally enrolling in low stakes SNG's that I thought were hold'em. Placed ITM both times. LOL

    Thanks for the clarification, Dunce.
  5. The others already answered your question...so I'll ask another one:

Why did you sit down at a table with $100 when you apparently don't know the rules of the game?

I'm not trying to be rude (well, that's not my primary intention, anyway)...just really really curious. There's plenty of play money and micro limit games available on every site. Even if they're way below your bankroll, it's a good way to figure out what the hell is going on in a game for an hour or two, especially in a game as complicated as PL Omaha 8/b. Woulda saved you $50, in any case.
