  1. Hello,
I am recently dipping into Omaha hi, and basically Im fucking retarded.
From playing snug, and hitting big flops, i can seem to always build a stack, but then my no experience or skill comes out, and i get involved in a large pot, where i think Im on a huge draw, only to type in the calculator that i was a big dog.
I like to play Rush, 6 handed, and Im planning to play ftops tonight.

From watching HS hands of omaha, it seems that any draw, no matter how light, or 2 pair on the flop, its all going in.
Even AA/xx Seems to always go in on the flop, personally i have no idea how to play these types of hands.

Without to much sarcasm "just shove and pray" type stuff. Could PD give me some actual pointers, tips that i could work immediately into my game so that i can plug the massive shotgun hole leaks i have.
If you have some online articles that are actually very good, a link would work to. yes i've heard about google, but i've also heard about condoms and have still found shit i didn't want :0
    much love,

    wholf
  2. Look for spots where people are going to overplay their hands. Avoid drawing into pair'd boards. Pot preflop with AAxx.... Learn how to fold KKxx preflop
  3. I find at the stakes i play *25./50. that nobody is every reraising without AA/xx preflop. and it seems that kk/xx is even rare also. So its pretty easy to spot that.

In position is it going to be profitable for me to be 3 betting alot of ranges like j/9/10/7 k/q/10/q 8/7/9/9 5/5/7/4 ? or since im a Noob, should i always be just flatting. Im pretty good with textures and knowing where im at alot regardless of it being omaha or nl.

  5. Coming from someone that doesn't play PLO cash. I'd say that 3 betting with any of those hands is not going to be profitable. The opener will have a better hand than you in most cases and I doubt you'll be able to buy the pot if you miss. Then again, if you have a soul read on your opponent and know that they'll overplay their hand, you could justify a 3bet and hope for the best.
  6. 3 bet in position with quite a few hands, most suited run down hands. Avoid playing oop with most hands.

  7. Ive Had a little bit of success with pot limit omoha HI. I just started playing as well. but here is someting that helped me out a ton.

    1. Position- DOnt play bad hand out of position, everyone knows this but in PLO I think is the number one key thing.
    2. I dont like to raise with aces unless they are double suited. Or connecting in some way AAXX unsuited I elect to limp in or even fold. Late stages Im raising with aces everytime suited. One tip I learned about playing aces, Is yoru goal is to try and get your chips either in pre or on the flop.
    3. Dont chase draws in a pair board( most of this might be common sense)
    4. bet your hands. I find that if you bet your hands when you make them even if you flop the nuts i like to bet usually you will get paid off buy somone at the lower stakes.
    5. IN the beggining I like to play alot of pots and hit a big hand to get double or trippled up. IN the end Im usually more slective with hands.

Thats All i have for now. It works for me most of the time. I usually go broke with aces tho in most tourneys.
