one site or spread it?

    I was wondering if it was better to have all my money on one site or spread it out. I have money on 3 sites right now but nothing more then $400 on any. Would i be better off putting all into one site? I play a lil of everything on all the sites. I like MTT's, SNG's and cash games depending on what I am in the mood for. I branched out into other sites for bonuses but have since worked them off.

    I think you better keeping some in 2 or 3 different sites,that way in there is a big tourney on a certain site and you want to play,you money is already there.
    If you have a certain site that you favor.....keep more money in that one.

    I have $$ on three : UB , stars , and just threw $100 in Full Tilt for the USPC & Foxwoods sats that should be going on after the Borgata sats .
    I prefer more than one site ........ gives me a choice when I sit down at nite to play . If I'm in the MTT mood - its UB . If not , then I'll play on whichever.

    Also ,
    Ex: UB has been having all these updates/ server problems ( as I'm sure you've read about em ) so Monday I logged on to play some SNG's and cash gms . It kept disconnecting me and was ridiculously slow . So I logged off and played on Stars. If I had just $$ in UB then I'd be fucked.

    yea true, I have $ on UB, Bodog and Paradise. Was only playing limit on Paradise until a short while ago but it is the site where I play the least(maybe once a week I log onto that account) What determines the limits you will play on a specific site? Is it the amount of $ on that site or the amount of your entire bankroll spread across all the sites?

    I go per site ......... have $700 in stars so I play the appropriate limits . Same with UB ( $560 ) . I only have $100 in FT for the sats so I'm probaly gonna grind upwards from the bottom -- .01/.02 NL and .05/.10 NL for a little bit.

    depends what level you want to play. If you leave yourself too thin by putting money on too many sites, that's a problem. Make sure you have enough on each site to play the games you want to play there without feeling constraints if you have a bad day.

    That said, I'm all about playing on several sites. GL

    For me, diversification is the only way. I don't have a lot of set times that I can play cards because of business, etc. Often when I sit down to play a tournament, I'm looking for instant gratification. Maybe I'll look at party first, and if they don't have anything that suits my fancy I'll check out Bodog, then onto UB, PokerRoom, and so on till I find something I like. Or, I'll give up and play a few SNGs.

    I have money on eight different sites at the moment because that fits my current situation well.
