What's up at ongame right now? Over the last week or so the guarantees in their tournaments have been lowered 3 or 4 times and seem to be in freefall. Most tourneys are suddenly at half the value they were before.

I never paid much attention before, but I think most guarantees were being met until they started lowering them. Maybe occasionally there might have been an overlay, but I believe it was rare.... I guess I could be wrong though, it's not something I've kept track of.
The concerning thing is the guarantees are suddenly not being met with enough players no matter how low they go, and they seem to keep dropping every 2 days. bwin seems to be panicking and just keeps lowering them, and if they go much further it's going to kill mtt's at ongame completely. Are we witnessing the total collapse of the entire mtt scene at Ongame?
I know all you Americans probably won't care since they abandoned you a few years ago, but maybe you can bask in ongame's demise while the rest of us Canadians and Euro's gossip. Anyone know or care what's going on? Or should I not sweat it, milk the overlays dry, and then see you all over on stars and tilt again? -
i think its gg ipoker because of how much they lost in overlay in the recent ECOOP. you cant help but think its because of how poorly the regular mtts are structured and how bad the software is. a lot of the regular euro grinders on these networks play microgaming also, yet they dont seem to be suffering at all (obv b/c their mtt structures are second to none).
imo ongame and ipoker need to pull their finger out and listen to their customers otherwise they wont be around very long! -
fwiw stars is seeing overlays lately too, although fortunately they are not reducing their guarantees as a result.

pretty much sure this is happening across all sites and is because of the World Cup and the WSOP in Vegas. Certainly it makes sense that the Euro sites are more affected by the World Cup, as soccer is the main sport in virtually every country over there.
I would expect the traffic to be back in a month or so. -
I really think that the latest software update (about two weeks ago) was very good.

I have definitely noticed this at iPoker (as Apes said above) but in my time zone have not noticed this at bwin.
party (in my timezone at least) seem to be 'holding'. I see there are a few new Party 'skin sites' getting around now which may be helping there. -
ongame has dropped all the way down to 19th on pokerscout! ... this must be an error right??

playing on ongame was fun, obv not doing it anymore

as said before this is probably because of the world cup and should change back shortly after the tournament finishes, also good weather and summer days will surely effect traffic aswell.

really doubt wsop has too much to do with traffic for euro-sites.
