    A friend of mine talks with Larry Elder from time to time. My friend told me that Larry had a discussion on his show about the online poker ban. Larry told my friend that we was shocked at the response from angry people. He said it was one of the biggest responses he had ever had in from his audience. I think the republicans are in real trouble come next Tuesday. As a former republican, I am glad there getting their butts kicked.

    How in the hell can you say they are getting their butts kicked when the election isn't for days?

    Anyway, it is good to see that more people care about the poker legislation than we thought.

    Doug Stanhope has a piece on his website about how outraged he is over bill passing.

    I honestly don't know a ton of politics Ill openly admit that, but what I do know is over the last 2 weeks I have been getting at LEAST 3 emails a day from various republicans actually got one today from Frist and almost choked on my dinner. This tells me that they are really worried about the upcoming elections. Maybe the democrats are sending out just as many emails I don't know. For that matter, I'm a democrat so I don't even know why I get republican emails oh well. Just my take. Hopefully this whole legislation doesn't end up going through fully in the end.
