    A friend and I have been having this discussion about the range of hands you will open fold the button. I know a lot of this is dependent on on the players in the blinds wether they have resteal ability, defenders, ect. But just in a general tourney with any two random players in the blinds. I know Andy Bloch said it is profitable to raise about 50% of your hands.

    Now put your % of hands raise/fold in these different situations and in some situations do the cards even matter:

    1. Big stack 30+bb with a >10bb stack in BB

    2. 20+bb stack with = stacks in blinds

    3. 30+bb with 30+bb Blind that is hyper agressive

    4. 10bb with 20+ bb blinds behind

    and any other situations that you feel are important
    and add cutoff to these situations if you would like.

    unless you're HU it's a good move, also don't be 3-4 handed.

    i have made many more final tables because of people who feel they always have to button raise if folded to them on my blinds than i have because of my button raises with air to steal their blinds..

    deep in tournies you raise 50% from the button, youre gonna get the worst of it...

    Assuming unknown players like u said

    1. 50% or >
    2. 40%
    3. 33%
    4. shove if i raise

    I probably fold the button more than most aggro players but to me its super important what the attitude is of the player in the blinds as well as his perceived image of myself... Hope this helps

    1. raise 51%-any ace, k9o+, q9s+, any pair, suited 2 gappers or unsuited one gappers. or depending on the size of sb; shove

    2. raise 36% - any pair, any ace, connectors 98o+, any suited connectors 54s+, suited one-gappers 86s+, suited two-gappers T7s+, K9o/s+, Q9o/s+, unsuited one-gappers J9o+.

    3. raise 15% - 55+, A9o/s+, KJo+, KTs+, QJo/s+, JTs+.

    4. any 2 if tilt antes are in play.

    60bbs on button with 60bb hyper aggro stack in bb i raise slightly lighter than #1 and call his reraise in pos if he makes it.

    not like hyper mathmatical stuff, just my opinion using pokerstove for %'s.
