  2. Not deep enough to flat, so fold or jam. How have you and birddog been playing? This decision is really a read/table dynamic dependent play imo.

Edit; Didn't realize you were IP. Maybe flatting is okay. Still depends on the interaction between the two of you though. Any additional info will get you better feedback.

  3. fold and wait for a better spot; you arent deep enough to flat and play post flop

  4. i fold here too....too often am i just crushed.he shows up with AA KK AK AQ and then all the other pairs
  5. can't imagine a jam can be too horrid, you're hand plays decent post flop, with this being said I would fold, maybe raise a little less pre flop also

  6. if you have been active, an he is 3 bettin a fair bit then easy jam an ul take it down pre so often

    otherwise fold
  7. it depends on your/his img and the history. against some players a 4b shove is fine, against some others, if they resteal only with a tight range ecc you have to fold (lol great advice by me)

agree. If he has been 3b'ing you or other LP players a lot im shipping. Otherwise prob folding 90% calling only once in a great while

  9. I would fold, too many combo's that have you beat. Difficult to play post, you really have no idea where you are if he leads.

This is what happened.. He has JJ, and I lose race. I am surprised at all the people saying to fold...

My reasoning, we are 38 ish from the money, I am on the button and could be raising pretty much anything. He has 2x my stack in the bb, I feel he is pretty capable and knows the situation. Flatting is never happening here with KQcc even though it's in position. I feel a shove gets him to fold a large amount of the hands he could be 3b me with here, Ax where X<10. Kx, small pairs, etc.

I guess I tend to play these type of spots more aggressively in these tournaments. I could be wrong, and I should have realized I don't race too well.

EDIT: a good player probably is never 3b folding with a pair in this spot. So forget I said that.
