  1. If this is a game you want to make part of your regular rotation, try not to be too big of an asshole would be my advice.

  2. what would of made the story better is if the old guy took you punk ass outside and knocked out you last tooth.....................
  3. I usually ignore it all. This summer in Vegas a guy chased me to the river drawing to 2 or 3 outs 3 times in a row and got there every time and finally turned to his neighbor and said "I told you, these young internet kids, they just give it away." I hadn't said a word to that point, but that was enough. I finally turned and said "Sir, if you'd like to play heads up for your pension check and your foodstamps, I'm down." I generally try not to be a jerk at the table, but after pissing that whole table off, I went from -200 to +600 in an hour because everyone wanted to bust the asshole.

Felt like a dick afterwards, so even though it worked, not planning on it being part of the repertoire. That said, if you chase and luckbox someone constantly and then brag about how you're better, you'd better be able to take a little shit-talking back.

Reason: he also checked behind after hitting all 3 times, tough life...
  4. Original line to old man, no prob. I actually wouldn't have minded even a bit more mouthing off to him.

To the floor, no call for it, and you are an ahole for doing this.

Strait draw.First guy checks, and the original raiser has his hand to his chin and rolls his finger, like burn and turn. Before he can start saying something the turn is out. Dude goes through the roof "I didnt check!! What the FUCK? Floor!!!" Explains his situation and the floor says were gonna see the river and who ever wins gets it." The BB wins the hand and the guy wants a refund. Goes through the roof and again. Calms down 15 min later and kindly ask the floor to refund his 550 from the pot. Manager says no. Dude picks up his chips and starts heaving them in the pit bosses face, throws his chair, and Security SLAMS him on the table. escorts him out

Excessive reaction, but dude is right. That's a terrible ruling.

To OP, way excessive, especially to the floor, but still fucking funny imo.
  6. Definitely well played.

Next time around though...let the old-timer know that he's not too old for an ass kicking from a 16 year old such as yourself.

I'd follow him home, egg his ass, then turf up his lawn as well.

Then skip school the next day.

Then try to get to third base with my gf next weekend.

    Then...

Def this. If your gunna make a wise ass remark, you expect backtalk. Nothing wrong with telling the old man to go fuck himself.

lol at anyone over 35 winning in poker anymore
  8. plenty of +35 years olds win at poker and do it for a living.. Doyle, Matusow, Greenstein, Laak, Seidel just to name a few.. Ivey will be 35 next year, guess his skills will go downhill then?

  9. Some of you guys are pretty loose with your definition "old timers". I'm 52 and don't consider myself that old. This gramps and grandma would probably party you guys under the table. It seems like yesterday that I graduated from college even though it was 30 years ago.

    Best of luck!

  10. LMAO this reminds me when I was at a Final Table in AC last year and me and this old azz man right next to me were going at it in several pots (we had a few drinks in us) we were the two chip leaders with like 6 left ... he was pretty drunk and we started talkin a lot of shyt to each other he was using "kid" and "punk" and just plain out talkin shyt back and forth (it was funny but it started pssing me off) but finally I told him "I'll b*tch slap the sh*t out of u and break ur hip old man" lololol next thing u know "FLOOR!" ....

We both almost got disqualified... instead they put us both on a 15 min penalty FML... but luckly we hit a 10 min break about 10 mins into our penalty... went back to the table with 5 left and neither of us were the chip leader anymore needless to say.

Ended up chopping HU, but learned a valuble lesson the hard way ;) ... jus let it go
  11. OP is toughest man on the planet. you tell that mean old world.
  12. tell the old man to act his age, but then again he might fall over and die
  13. It's not really a good story, it just shows how ignorant/immature you are. My guess is that you're a little pussy, and that you knew the floorman (even though he no doubt could) wouldn't bitch-slap your punk ass across the table! Tell me I'm not right? : )

  14. Was playing at Hard Rock in Vegas during WSOP. I'm there for like 20 mins and I talk a lot when I'm at the table and try and put a target on my back but it's always friendly. For some reason this asian dude just didn't like me. I took a small pot off of him and he talked shit for literally like 2 hours and anytime I'd say something back, that's when the dealer would say cut it out. After another hour of this and me telling the dude to stop talking to me I'd had enough and asked the dealer to call the floor. Floor comes over and I start to explain whats happening and the guy interrupts me. I tell him to shut up and now the floor thinks im a dick. He asks me if i want him to handle the situation and I said no it's cool I'll just rack up and go.

I get up to go get a rack and the floor tells me I dont have to leave. I said no its cool im leaving. I rack up my chips and play my last hand. There were two guys talking and being friendly with me so I go have a nice day have nice day and you sir can go fuck yourself. Dealer calls floor I just walk off with my chips to the cage that is on the other side of the casino. The floor man chased me across the casino that im already clearly leaving to tell me I'm kicked out. I told him it's clear I'm leaving already and that if I was an asshole this would have just mad the situation worse and that guy can go fuck himself.

yes i knew the floorman, but that's not the point. I'm not much for table talk. i don't put up with all that phil helmuth table talk b.s. If someone gets out of line, whatever their age is, i deal with them. All know it all poker players sometimes need a little slap across the mouth to get them in check.

  16. could be that trying to tilt players is part of the old guys game and you played right into it

  17. anyone saying that they would resort to violence against an old man for something this petty needs to grow up. old people are funny, esp when its something like this...

seriously tho, get a grip u pathetic little boy
  18. lol @ all the people in this thread on their high horses
  19. Be honest OP, if the dude wasnt say a weak little old man and was instead a young ripped dude with 50 pounds on you who may have kicked your ass for such a comment, would your reaction have been the same?

If not, then I would say you were out of line. FWIW, I dont know you but doubt you woulda responded the same, your story makes you sound like one of those guys who shouts something out his car windows when you are driving away as you know you cant get a beat down.

Well at 6'1 230. i'm not too worried about my capabalities. Regardless a man(big, fat, strong, blind,or old) gets out of line and says a smart-a$$ comment to try and needle me, i don't put up with. It's not if you win or lose a fight, but to have the nutz to say fk it. it's the principle.
