Ok, I knew he was good when they put me at this table and I should have listened to the voice in my head sayign don't even play with him, especially with a mediocre hand. Well, this is what i got in return. Fought my way back a little but ended up out in 35th. Still trying to improve to that final table status. Blackmetalhead, if you read this, let me tell you that I am a fan. Later

By the way, is this a punk way to go out? Hope this isn't interpreted as self-bumping. I'm just curious if this falls into the "i'm trying to win, not just cash" category or in the "stupid category".

Damn it, i'm retarded. Here it is. I'm really not trying to get this higher on the list, i swear.

You screwed this hand up big time anyway, regardless of the cooler. You have to bet the turn because he could very well be chasing you with the naked ace of hearts. Then you raising on the river when the scare card is hit is yet another mistake. You really need to just call when that river hits, it might have saved you some money.
-
lol, burgerking owns.
and if it makes you feel better i was right behind you when lbr made a sick call with tens when i reraised him pre and flop came qj2 and i had ak. not sure how he called it but gotta give him credit.
i almost typed "man i hope you didnt' hit a set" before i pushed but i dind't and he called. -
I saw that. Brutal river card too, like it was being rubbed in. Anyway, was it stupid to push with the A7s?
-
with your chips he was definitley priced in to call you but he was raising alot and you proablayb had the best hand so i don't mind it so much. but it's always better to push a hand like that when you can create some fold equity, which you really couldn't. that being said you got it in good and that's all you can really do.
-
These things all did occur to me. In fact, I almost folded but talked myself into it. When he reraised me on the river, what else could he have had? Maybe next time I'll listen to my instincts. Hear that, bluff those river bets.
-
Yeah, I see that. I was kind of hoping he would think I would recognize that and therefore put me on a stronger hand than what I actually had. Probably hard for him to do with all the allin raising I had been doing to get back into the game. Time for a whopper. Hopefully I'll see you at a final table.
-
when the pot odds are there, it doesn't really matter what you think they might have you just gotta stick it in and suck out.
unless of course you are actionjeff and could specifically say "i know he has qq" but that's a diff. story entirely. -
This was the highlight of the tourney for me. I was representing aces, I hope. Any thoughts?

If I bet the turn, BMH calls or raises? A call gives me a way out when the river heart comes. If he raises, I probably lose all my chips, right?
-
you are destined to go broke there. i actually hate the way i played the hand. regardless you should raise the turn, say i do have the Ah, i only have 7 outs at that point you shouldn't mind action at all. you in fact should be trying to get all the money in as early as possible in general when you think you have the best hand, cause this game is fucked up and weird shit happens when you sit on your big hands.
