    On Sunday June 24 Pocketfives.com held a $3 + rebuy satellite tourney to the newly recognized as a major tourney, the Absolute Poker 150k gauranteed for (Sat. June 30). Pocketfives agreed to add 25 seats at 200 +16 to the prizepool. A situation was created because the (June 30) tourney was the $500 + 30 version of the Absolute 150k. The prizepool from the players plus the money (seats) from p5'a only totaled like 7 seats (at $530), players were unsure how things would work out. Absolute Poker and Pocketfives came together and awarded the 25 seats for a total of 30 P5ers in the running for a 41k top prize in the Absolute Poker 150k.

    At a buy-in of $530 this would be my biggest tourney ever and only 27 players out of 300 would be paid. I always saw myself as the guy with big game but not the big bankroll and this was my shot at a big payday. After almost 5 hours I found myself at the Final Table as the shortest stack. I was able to finish in 7th place for a payday of $5,250. The tourney was won by ranked player YourTimeIsUp (aka. Charlie Beane) for a $41,500 score.

    The whole experience was cool man, and hopefully this can help lead to more sucess. Thanks again P5's.com and Absolute.

    Congrats, dude.

    Just fyi, a total of approximately $1200 was put into the satellite prizepool by the players, and it ended up awarding 30 seats, worth a total of $15,900. It was a tremendous value for the players, and we're looking forward to giving away more money in the future on Absolute Poker.
