Had been leading but started leaking chips when guy on my left shoved on my steals 5 times on the trot and I couldnt call, then this hand...
So what should I do here?
My logic was....initially flat calling his 36k raise definitely not on there. you're likely to miss and then you're stuck when he bets at you. I'm always happy to take down the pot with a resteal in this position and if he calls then you take it from there. When he shoves, well - the difficulty is that he can do this with a reasonably wide range as he knows my restealing range 4 handed is widish too and his shove puts my life on the line and will take it down a high % of the time. So my thinking is that is can be doing this with AQ/AJ/KQs and 77+ish or wider even and I am going to be good plenty of times - at this stage of the tourney you have to take some risks and if I win this hand I probably get 1st 65% 2nd 25% of the time maybe.
Other considerations...
- the other stacks and the two shorties had been catching up. A few hands earlier I may have considered folding when they were much shorter. However, to fold now would have left me short stacked with effective M short handed of about 4 so looking for a spot to shove...quickly. Am I in a better or worse position to call here than I am likely to leave myself to shove in later if I fold?
Re-raise size - I made it 140k, if I make it 100k I am giving chip leader odds of nearly 3/1 to call reraise. If he does I am back in same position as if I flat call initially but much more committed and in even trickier position on missing flop.
What do you guys do here and why? feel free to tear my logic apart but give me reasons please!

His initial raise suggests he was trying to set a trap anyway (although I don't know what the regular raise was at this table). As you say, calling would just be too tricky, as you'd likely miss the flop and then be forced to lose a ton of chips or be in very bad shape; so a raise was necessary.Your raise seems okay, the a re-raise by him over the top gives the impression of a strong hand; but at this point I think you have to call. It's just unlucky that you ran up against a better kicker.
