Party Points program SEVERLY FLAWED

    On party poker they will give you 1,000 points for making a deposit over $500.

    For playing a $100+9 multi table tournament, you get 8 points.

    So if you play 125 $109 MTT's ($1,125 rake) you will get the same amount of points as simply depositing $500.

    WTF PARTY!!!!!

    stars program is 100x better. It actually rewards you for playing, not just depositing.

    I fail to see the logic in your arguement. partypoker rewards you for playing and depositing. This makes it worse?

    I am not bothering to run the math on where it is easier to get a comparable item. However, I doubt the Party rewards are 100x worse.

    Since they reward you for depositing as well, the value of each point is gonna be less. If they gave everyone 100 million free points would that be even better?

    stars rewards people who play a lot, party rewards people who deposit a lot, I find this not suprising.

    Lets think about this for a second. Obviosly they are not giving 100 million free points for every deposit. What is wrong w/ a site offering an incentive for people to put money on the site? Doesn't their need to be money constantly flowing into the site to make it attractive for current and prospective players? No reason to rip party because their points program differs from stars. If you don't like the program keep playing at stars. Don't post Party's program is 100x worse or they are giving out 100,000,000 points per deposit so their program is worse.

    I am not arguing over the fact that party rewards points for depositing, that is just fine by me. What I am saying is that in relative to what the points are worth and can buy you, stars gives you a LOT more bang for your buck for PLAYING on their site. The best way to gather points with Party is by depositing it seems.

    As the OP said, playing a $100+9 tournament gets you EIGHT points.. thats nothing. I've been playing more and more speed Sit n Gos there too and have barely noticed my point balance go up.

    to get the 1,000 points can i deposit 500 on top of what i already have in there or do i have to withdraw then redeposit.

    Ugg, I'm going to end up looking like a partypoker employee. Have you even played PartyPoker lately? Do you even have a clue what the new structure is like? Do you know when you say things like '_____ sucks period' its isn't even close to a cogent arguement? I hope you teach your students better writing skills, otherwise forums like these will be full of useless posts like yours for generations to come.

    I see how you picked the worst possible option to earn points to hate on party.

    You could easily have also said...play in a 100+9 SINGLE table tournament and earn EIGHTEEN points. Thats less than 6 tournaments. So someone gets credit for 6 109's if they deposit 500 bucks a week later. Wow. Big loophole.

    Why the hell do you get more points for a $109 SNG than you do for a $109 MTT?

    Probably because they take a fraction of the time an MTT does.
