  1. I'm hoping someone else has had the issues I'm dealing with and has some sort of solution to my problem. I figured its more likely I'd find the solution here that contacting party support....lol

Party's timer starts out giving me the regular amount of time but then after about 15 minutes i only have 15 seconds to act at each table. Another 5 minutes passes and I only have 12 seconds at each table.....then 8.....and so on. Obviously a major issue when trying to play 6+ tables of 6 max cashgames and brutal when you have only 6 seconds to decide whether to call, raise or fold on a scary board with a decent hand.

I've noticed this timer issue sporadically over the last year or so while playing Party. A lot of the time restarting the software and/or rebooting my computer fixes it. Today though I tried everything and just had to quit playing the site completely cause its not giving me enough time to act.

Any help would be much appreciated.
  2. Unrelated, but for the last year ive made deposits when drinking, or after a nice poker win onto partycasino to throw away on let it ride, blackjack, etc, ive lost a few thousand, anwyay i had like 700 on there, decided i wanted off, requested a Cashout, and what do you know, they lock my account saying they have to confirm my credit card, and identity, etc etc etc using the word suspicious

Just kind of made me laugh when after a year of throwing away money, i get insta-shutdown when i try to take a bit back out.

    F party, Carry on :)

  3. Cant say i have noticed the timer problem my self - I dont play 6 tables so prob doesnt affect me as much - ill look tonight though and see what happens.
  4. I have not noticed this problem but party does have another glitch that I was wondering if others have noticed as it is a big problem.

stacks not relevant but say you raise to 1000 and someone behind you moves in for there final 1500. It gets flat called by another player so it is another 500 to you. However if you want to reraise it does not allow that option. it only allows you to flat the extra 500.

    anyone else seen this?

  5. that's not a glitch, that a rule. If some doesn't raise for more than 50% of the bet, it's considered a call, not a raise and you can only call in that situation.
  6. I also found a glitch on partypoker. I haven't been able to log on for about 2 years. Anyone know why?
  7. bigblacktruck is right although he gave a bad example - i have had this situation many times in tourney where somebody is all in followed by a call and you want to raise but it doesnt give you the option.
  8. Lol at the interesting replies so far.

In case anyone else runs into this problem with party I think (not 100% positive yet) that I know what the problem is. My router was dropping data packets which I guess Party's software didn't take too kindly too resulting in the short timer issues. Other symptoms of packet loss from what I've read are when videos don't stream properly on sites like youtube, cardplayer tv, movie trailers etc. I was having issues like that as well.

Anyways I updated my router firmware and tweaked some settings and that seems to have done the trick. Wish I had figured it out previously though.....I'm sure I've lost hundreds because of rushed decisions where I've barely been able to act let alone decide whether its the correct play.
