party poker--what a joke

    was playing in 3 tourneys last night on party...

    1) 40k guaranteed--had 14k or so in chips with 800 people left
    2) 30 pl omaha hi/lo---was top 10 in chips with around 75 left
    3) 100 nlh tourn that started at 11pm--doubled up early in good shape

    so midnight comes and party goes down..had this happen before..tourneys usually cancelled and refunds given according to their procedure regarding chip counts and such. so i wait until 1:30 am--still cant get on--see everyone here is having problems also--so i go to bed.

    wake up--see a combined $60 or so profit from these 3 tourn---WTFFFFF...something wrong here. i should have at least double the buyins for the 3 tourn ($160 or so profit). i check my email and party, while admitting the problems were on their end, continued these tourneys after being down for more than 2 hours??????????????? and people had big stacks were stealing everyones disconnected blinds????????

    WTG PARTY YOU FUCKING SCUMBAGS...VERY FUCKING FAIR TO THE REST OF THE FIELD. in the 40k guar..i was blinded down from 800 people to 89th place--hah what a joke. also blinded down in the omaha tourn to eek into the money. oh and btw party did me a "favor" and refunded the 109.00 for the 11pm tourney.

    god forbid it was me who was stealing everyone elses disconnected blinds...a fucking indian with a bow and arrow wouldve showed up at my door at 3am..what a fcuking disgrace. how they allowed this to happen is beyond me...goddamn joke.

    My beef/question about party is much smaller than yours
    However, the last two tourneys I have played at party
    I had to pay the Big Blind twice in a row.
    I don't mean I was moved into it twice I payed it twice in a row at the same table
    Which was huge because I was on the bubble each time.

    Has anyone else experienced this joyful event?

    I also got blinded in 4 tourneys there last night....also the 100+9 w/ 2k added seemed to start after the fiasco, only the blinds were 100/200 at the onset...no word from PP yet what a joke...

    Yes that has happened to me a couple of times, in both cases the blinds were massive and it was no fun.

    well..after much haggling with party i was refunded an extra $60--woooooooohooooooo (sarcasm)...how they let tourneys continue after 2 hours of being disconnected is beyond me. they basically gave anyone with no life who was trying to log on for 2+ hours a HUGE advantage over the fields. they let these players play against disconencted "ghosts" ---very very unfair and unreasonable.

    wtg party, logical conclusion as always to problems.

    MuckMe, I have paid the big blind 2 hands in a row at the same table mulitple times.

    It happens when I'm in the BB and the SB is an empty seat, then on the next hand the empty seat fills and he pays the SB and I get the BB again. It happened to me in the 6th hour of a tourney a few weeks ago and it hurt.

    I've sent them an email about this glitch and I suggest anyone else who plays on party does the same. When it gets late in a tourney this can be very costly.

    lol sometimes u have to PAY IT 3 TIMES IN A ROW... 1st u pay it twice when the player who was supposed to take the big blind gets knocked out. Then if someone new comes in where the small blind was they take the small blind and u get it a 3rd time. Ridiculous.

    Hey kmed. Glad to see you still posting somewhere =). Yeah dude, thats pretty ridiculous man. So you're telling me when 55 isnt cracking your AA that you have to pay the BB twice or get disconn. and then have the tourney continue 2 hours after stalling? LOL. Thats actually pretty funny...it's amazing to think that they are somehow justifying this by not dividing up the money by chip count. party has really begun to annoy me...

    I was kicked last night in the $162 tourney with 78 left and 40 getting paid. So I emailed them to see if they were going to right there wrong, and sure enough I just checked and they gave me my buy-in back plus another $162 :)

    well..after emailing every partypoker address....i finally received a total of an additional $300 for all 3 tourn...guess you really have to bust their balls.

    PP is the biggest god damn disgrace in online poker. They avoid emails like you dont fuken exist, tell you one thing but do another. F those pricks! There done, and after last night's horses#!T there is no way Ill ever go back. There done...it's UN-INSTALLED!

    i had this happen also last night. when i was able to log back on the blinds had jumped 3 levels and i had less chips than when the disconnect took place. but i was playing on empire poker. i emailed them a nasty email and got back a standard response basically saying im screwed. what a joke. time to take my money elsewhere.

    i agree they used to put you off (and maby they will continue in the future) but i must say that they are taking this instance seriously and have compensated me more than i had put in at least (and i even cashed in one of the 30+3) so i think its a good thing to give them a shot to make right
