PartyPoker has added WSOP Step Sit and Gos to their list of games. There are six levels, with first prize in the top level being a WSOP prize package.

I was watching jcgoheels2 tear through a level four earlier.

I've been playing these the last couple of days, I'm at Step 4 now, the $500 level

I have played 4 or 5 double shootouts on Stars, with no wins (got a 2nd on one of them), the good thing about the Steps is that if you have a small bankroll you don't have to spend $160 each time you wanna play, when you lose (and finish within the top 5 or 6) you get looped back an earlier step. A negative is that it might take days for you to get to Step 6, lose on a bad beat beat when you get there, and you don't have much to show for the effort.

I noticed this the other day, pokerstars give you a $10k seat, $1500 for travel, and a free hotel (if you agree to wear theer gear)...Party's package is $13,500, meaning the hotel is paid for within the prize pool....with how HUGE Party is, I think this just makes them look bad.......smaller site hooking up there winners, kudos to pokerstars.
