  1. Is the man and will win the LAPC.

  2. i bet my life he wont. i will accept a peso in return should i win this bet.
  3. does this bet mean he immediately kills you if Wasicka wins or is your life just going to be his to do as he pleases ie: personal servant/sex slave or he can kill you whenever he wants to?
  4. I wouldn't put my money on him. He's not aggressive enough.
  5. Kyner how can you make a statement like that?

  6. I think he has as good of a shot as anyone.

He also seems to be pwning HSP by just playing tight.

    Man has some game

  7. earlier today I said I like Wasicka, JC Tran or Nick Schulman to win... Ari, prtypsux and Strasser are my dark horses...

EDIT: Kyner is a clueless moron, so is DW if he is being serious

  10. Paul Wasicka Takes A Pot From Scott Clements
Scott Clements raises to $20,000 from under the gun and is called by Paul Wasicka from the button. The flop comes 877 and Clements bets $40,000, leaving him $101,000 behind. Wasicka pushes out $200,000 worth of chips and Clements goes into the tank. After about five minutes, Clements folds and Wasicka flips over AQ.

    Not aggressive enough?

Wasicka has as good a chance as anyone... and having been at the WSOP Main Event FT probably gives him an edge over most due to the 1) the pressure 2) the stakes 3) the pressure. With the chip lead right now, I would say he has as good a shot as anyone.

If you gave me three picks on the winner... I'll take Wasicka, J.C. Tran (this guy is the sickest tournament poker player on Earth), and hmmm.... Hans "Tuna" Lund (just because the WPT needs a guy named "Tuna" to promote all their products... screw you Fossilman).
  11. Wasicka had a big flush draw, so what?

Anyway, Wasicka proved to all of us that he can't finish the big one, he will forever be a runner up. JC Tran is in fact NOT the sickest tourney player on earth. The favorite is still one of the no names since there are so many left.
  12. He didn't have a draw DW
    2
  13. He did so, he had a runner draw, he also had a full house draw, tptk draw, nut flush draw, and running 7's gives him the immortal nuts.
  14. He did have the flush draw, his AQ was suited clubs.
  15. And the board was rainbow

dont even say backdoor draw DW
    2
  16. I can make a statement like that after seeing him play 3 handed at the main event final table with the mother of all draws and not being able to pull the trigger. Just seems like he's a little green yet, I'd put my money on Tran or Schulman waaaaay before Wasicka.
  17. Backdoor.

Either way, flush draw or no flush draw, he has proven he can't close the deal.
  18. this 5th level sarcasm is killing me
  19. DO you really think he makes folds like that on the regular? I saw him in the same tournament get Allen Cunningham to lay down a much better by by betting with nadda, so he outplayed the best player at the table that hand, if you're going to make assumptions about his game based on 1 hand why not that hand? He said he thought gold had the bigger flush draw, after playing hours and hours with someone you try to make reads on them. Sometimes you're right, othertimes you're wrong, but it's incredibly stupid to take 1 hand out of someones career and use it as an example of why they will never win a tourney, especially when it was a hand from an 8,000 person tournament 3 handed with millions on the line.
  20. JC IS the sickest tournament player, AND has to be the favorite to win this event.
  21. Me too... sarcasm can only go so far. Even the most blatant sarcasm to the billionth degree starts to seem like its not sarcasm... I hope? SARCASM SARCASM SARCASM.
  22. JC is NOT the sickest tournament player, and is NOT the favorite to win from here out. One of these is an actual fact.... the other a very well respected opinion.
  23. I swear DW, half your posts are totally retarded, and the other half are fucking brilliant.
    2
  24. Clueless moron? Thanks.....nothing like singling someone out for having an opinion.

    Real classy
  25. kyner...lol.... u have a real big sample size to say he cant close out tournys. lolz @ u.

  26. I understand the main event is a limited sample. I would put my money on someone like Tran who final tables like a maniac over Wasicka, that's all I was saying. Wasicka's solid, but I like Tran or Schulman.

Also, I never said he couldn't close out a tourney, just that I wouldn't put my money on him
