I remember reading back some time ago about a statisical analysis that was done to calculate roughly how many step 1 buyins it would take to eventually ship a step 6 seat to WSOP, PCA etc..I am interested in trying for a PCA seat, but was wondering roughly what amount I would need to set aside to do this. Also, is the preferred strategy to only play 1 step level at a time, I.E. 100 Steps 1s before going to 2. Any input is appreciated.
