    What does he do differently?

    All I know is that he like 2.5x raises with like 12x and folds to shoves sometimes. :)

    i wouldnt say many people have downright stolen his style, but the whole 2.5x wide range raise in EMP versus a table full of weak players is now an accepted norm thanks to PJ

    Wow, I was actually thinking of PearlJammer like 10minutes ago, then I see this thread. I think PearlJammer has been in the top 10 like ever since the new tournament leaderboards. I think most people overlook him but hes a solid player, and just maintains his position in the top 10. Amazing. G00000000t.

    I dont think PJ should get all the credit for that, either...

    ...but what I suggest for these type tourneys is that we lower our risk by raising to a number such as two-and-a-half times the big blind versus three.

    yeah pearljammer is a sick player.. he was at my double shootout final table the other day when i won my trip to the bahamas, guy i took out to win it sucked out on him twice

    meh i raised 2.5x before PJs vids but i agree with whoever said its more widely accepted now bc of him.picks his spots so well.

    jeffbeesdat's concepts aren't bad but the way he present's them as complex and difficult to comprehend are pretty funny.... it's kind of like teaching average people how to use algebra to figure out how long it takes two trains heading in the same direction to reach each other.....

    But, the guy is really clever with his responses and humor.... love to read them....
