To Everyone,
First I want to say thanks to everyone for all of the wonderful posts. I have learned a lot and am excited about what poker can do for me. Up until I found pocket fives I had no clue as to how to build a bankroll or what a bankroll really was. I was playing sngs, MTT's .25/.50 NL and was basically all over the place without a plan. Well now I have a plan. I really enjoy playing on Pokershare.com and now I can be found stricktly at the $5.50 Turbo SNGs under the name bugbig2. Two days ago I started the first of a !,000 game stretch playing no more than 3 at a time. Trying to stick with 2 for now. Last night I completed game number 28. The first session was horrible. Last night was not bad and finished $33.00 ahead for the night. At one point I thought I was going to have to redeposit!!! Then had a string of 3 ITMs in a row.
Being that I work two full time jobs this is going to take FOREVER!!! But the one thing I have learned is Poker is here to stay!! I do not need to be in a hurry to make the money that is out there. If anything the world of online poker is going to grow. While I am grinding it out at the $5.50 level at pokershare it would be great to get people to chat with. I estimate this journey to take about 71 sessions (approx. 3 1/2 months). If anyone from pocket fives would stop by and say hi why I am grinding it out it would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Hey man , its great to hear someone do what works for them ........ Best of luck in the future ....

Hey bug I'm doing the same thing. Also on pokershare in the $5.50. I play both turbos and regular depending on how I feel so I'll probably see you. I plan on playing 500 than moving up to the $10's and do another 500.

Hope to see you at the tables? What number are you on in your quest? I try and stick to the turbos. I do not know why but my stats have been much better. On the other hand at the 30 seated which I was playing a lot before I started this journey on the turbos I could not win a thing but on the non-turbos I was in the money 60% of the time. Go figure.

I'm through 50 right now. I had a terrible start and took me about 40 to finally be up more than a couple buyins. I started off in the regulars than after a bunch of loses I switched to turbos and got 4/5 cashes. Than after another bad run I went back to the regulars and won 3 straight. The worst part about keeping stats is knowing how much ultimatebet will be making off this little challange.

For my quest it will be $500.00!!! But from what I have read on these posts from people that have done the same thing all the way up if you do it right that $500.00 paid directly to UB/Pokershares to get started will seem funny and wont mean a thing for now I try not to think about it.

The Quest is sweet... the pot of gold at the end of etc. makes it all worth it
