  1. So what if they gave us the option of having them make a donation of like $10 or donating a shirt to charity instead of receiving a KO a pro tshirt. I think this is is a good idea, ends up good for everyone.
    Thoughts?

  2. I like it... Im not a big fan of the shirts anyways... Would be cool to see how much it added up to by the end of the year...
  3. ya,im pretty oi the shirts now, i used to kind of get excited for them but now im finding any excuse to ruin them

  4. im down
  5. I was thinking that they should just send out coolers. All I seem to get from them anyways.

  6. i usually donate them to the local salvation army

    ^^
but could dig the $10 charity donation instead, think that could be a cool idea since $10 could go a lot further in some countries than a T-Shirt.

  8. i'm actually still waiting on my badass tshirt
  9. i just got my 1st 2 tshirts and was kind of pumped up... but i agree if you have a bunch, helping other people is always a nice move

  10. I petition for them to add socks and boxers to the store. I have bought enough track pants to go along with my shirts, however I find myself always running out of socks and underwear and having to wear the same pair a few times per cycle.

  11. There is also stores probably around your town for those type of things also DB fwiw.

  12. Great idea, cosign.

and yea not to brag but personally i dont even send in for them anymore... have 35-40 sitting in my e-mail inbox waiting for a reason to send them in.
when i was in school earlier this year i lived in a college house with 7 other guys and sent in for 7 of the shirts and they were "Team Full Tilt" for intramural floor hockey, was pretty funny :)

Another poster and I are giving them out here http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/17...thread-902439/

Would be cool if you could too. A lot of people really want these and it's a nice way to support interest in our game. That and if you don't want them, it's pretty easy to give them to someone who does. Most people sell them for like $10 but to each his own, I'd rather give them out.

Also, Doug mentioned he is going to get the right department to make these cooler. They've gotten a little better (design wise) lately, but they used to have to worst graphics ever and were pretty much embarrassing to ever run, imo. That said, the black long sleeve that you can buy in the store is alright and I run that from time to time.
  15. Cosign, great idea.

  16. I use em as cum rags

    but yea good idea
  17. Cover them in studs and dragons and flames so we can wear them to live tourneys.

  18. not to mention the shirts are plain terrible.
if they were not keen on improving them, then yeah id be happy to swap it with some donation for charity or something, as i definately dont plan on wearing these shirts around anywhere, they sit and gather dust in the cupboard here lol.
  19. great idea cosign.
    youre so sweet daniel <3

  20. btw does anyone know if there are different ones? if you google it, u see 3 different ones but i always get the same fish with champagne. i dont see the point in having 5 times the same tshirt..

  21. I've had the donkey one a few times but more of that fish one
  22. The main issue I see with this is the fact the t-shirts aren't worth anywhere near $10. Full Tilt would lose money everytime they send a donation.

Doug should start a thread where P5ers can throw up some designs and maybe one will be used for a new shirt... It would give FT at least a ton of ideas if they want to come up with their own

You guys could always sell them for $10 and then just donate that money. Again though, some people would really like to have one of these shirts so just shipping them one is cool of ya and saves a step.
  27. These shirts are fucking retarded....Just give me a shirt that says Full titl poker on the front...and I KO'd a pro on the back....thats it ftp

  28. FTP wouldn't do this because part of giving t-shirts out is grass roots marketing. People see people wearing the shirts. You can still donate 10$ to charity. Just sell the shirt on 2+2 marketplace for 10$ and then donate the money. This is best.....someone gets a shirt they want, they wear the shirt in public and potentially bring people to the site, and the charity of your choice can get the money.

  29. The shirts are obviously a good gimmick for the average player on Full Tilt Poker to get excited about.

Not a bad idea to have donation option either tho.

  30. some people ITT missed the word 'option' in OP's OP, yo. good idea, have my doubts they'd think so
