  1. Starting stacks in these should be at least 2000 in the $2 and $7 and probably higher for the $12's and $36's.

I understand that they are SNGs, but a 20 table Tourney is a legit MTT and since the levels move so much faster than the regular MTTs I think this change would be for the best.

I know many of us are used to the current structure and would have to adjust some if this change were made, but I think it would add a small amount of play to these which is SORELY needed.

Cosign if you agree and I'll forward to stars.
  2. cosign ....i was thinking the same thing.
  3. Not this. If you want lots of play, play the regular structured ones. Turbos are SUPPOSED to go fast.

    this.

  8. No leave them.
  9. OK OK I get the point.

I turbos are supposed to go fast, I just feel like the 1500 stack is tiny once you play 1 hand to the river and lose it.

I think they would still "go fast" at 2000 and I was only talking about the 180s.

I would never think of switching it for the 18,45, and 90 man ones.

    Thx for everyone's input.

A lot of people who play the 180 mans are 10+ tabling, so there isn't that much time or desire for "play" early. You make money in those by learning how to push/fold.

  15. You can't even get stars to add tourneys to the dead spot in their afternoon schedule where the effect on their operation would be negligible. You want them to increase the starting stacks in their SnGs so people can play longer with more chips? This would benefit Stars...how? LOOOOOOOOOOOOL! GL with that. I think I've wasted about as much time pointing out the post's frivolity as you have creating the post.
  16. cosign and i dont even play sngs

It would benefit Stars if most of their customers prefered it.

From this small sample, they obviously don't. That is why I post a follow up to disregard my idea.

I am big enough to realize I was in the minority in my thinking.

Nice to know that you like to hear yourself talk though.

I am very aware that push/fold is the only way to go.

However, I have been having some success at playing some hands early on against the weaker players to build a stack slightly that gives me more time to catch hands in the push/fold zone of the tourneys.

I do see that most people don't like the idea, which is also cool.

  19. Def leave them as they are.

If you don't like the structure play on FT and get the larger starting stack

  20. No for turbos, but would love it to happen in the non-turbos.
