    I saw Durrr mentioning this to Barry and Negreanu and think it would be a great idea. I think it would get 60ish+ people and would be a fun tournament both for people to play in as well as for spectators to watch. If this gets a positive response I'll send an email to stars and link this thread.

    Or if they think that's too big of a tourney they could make it a $2500 6max instead. I dunno, just throwing the idea out there.

    Thoughts?

    I think it would be great to watch. I would also be great if they ran satelites to it in the $100-$400 range (but no turbos!!!)

    I don't understand why stars doesn't just add every type of MTT, SNG, and ring game imaginable.

    not the same thing exactly bu tis there any lower limit 6-max tourneys? 10$ buy and less?

    theres just not really that many 6-max's are there

    theres a bunch of em.........but aside from the 77 6 max, i think all of them are un guaranteed and 1500 starting chips, which is gay

    I think if pokerstars is going to have a weekly $2500/$5k (which they absolutely should, I've posted half a dozen times about why this is such a good idea) it should be nine handed not six handed. Don't get me wrong I'd much rather play shorthanded, my choice would be a weekly 4max $5k. But for whatever reason Stars 6max tournaments get much lower turnout. I'd rather play a 200 player 9max $5k with a decently soft field than a tough 60 player 6max $5k.

    Good point on the 6 max tournies not getting a lot of love on stars. I thought the new 6 handed 30+R they added would have been a big hit but it doesn't even draw 200 person fields. I think that Stars is moving in the right direction in terms of enticing the niche high stakes crowd to play more at their site, if they offered rakeback and diversified their tourney schedule they would own in every aspect of online poker.
